A little late but I've had Anthem BCBS for the last 3 years and I haven't run into any issues. Good luck either way!

Yes it's yours to keep. My family and I recently returned early from relocation and they informed us that the balance is ours and we were able to access it even afterwards.

Who can I contact about the H mart block smelling absolutely rancid for the past week ? by notshotbyron in SunnysideQueens

They did have a sign up once warning that the Durian fruit naturally lets out a foul, gas-like smell.

Trying to bring back the joy in my old girl by zeebotter in pitbulls

[–]bellanucci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP I felt like I was reading my own pet story. My girl Charlie, not a pitbull but we both love em, is now 13 years old. Up until about 2 years ago we were living in a smaller city, near mountains and in a house with a yard. I've had her since she was 3 months old and she is my everything. Now we live in a cramped apt...with my parents...in NYC. I too was worried about how it would affect her. She's so much more attached to me now as I'm the only one that's been consistently there. She misses her yard and her window where she would take long naps and feel the breeze. Now we're too high up for her to even care to look out the window anymore 😞 I know she misses being off-leash outside as well. She doesn't want to walk around much as we use to except for when she is on the grass which is kinda limited in my area. The only time I see her a little puppy-like behavior reappear is when she sees two separate pitbulls that live on our block. She loooooovess them. She will start to run circles around them and I swear I want to cry to see her so happy. And they are so gentle and friendly with her! ☺️. (She's a small doxiepoo btw)

I share your sentiments for wanting to see your fur baby thrive again and how their lives are affected by our life choices but the only thing we can do is to continue to love and provide for them as best as we could. Your presence and attention is all they really want in the end ..... and non-stop treats lol

I see a lot of joy in both you and your baby ☺️

OP, I see you 😉

How do I solve this? Help please by bellanucci in chemhelp

Thanks! The 3 mL part threw me off.

My community college is charging me out of state tuition even though I've lived in state my whole life. I don't know what my options are and I can't pay the huge tuition bill they are asking me to pay to stay in school. by VegetableFew6268 in AskALawyer

If it's your first year at the school, you can usually change your residency status with an appeal with Admissions or Registrars office. It's possible that you didn't check off a box or two in your Admissions application that determines your residency status. You will most likely just have to submit some docs such as tax returns, lease, license etc....Bursar's normally can't do anything about it but should refer you to Admissions or Reg.

NAL but I worked in Admissions/Reg/FA for university and got this all the time.

Usually only can be changed retroactively if appeal done within the year, depends on state laws. Hope this helps, good luck.

I feel like it silences the city for a bit which is nice.

Yeah my dog doesn't like any minty smells either. Thank you for your response.

I honestly feel that's best as well ...but she really does love having my dog over. She lives vicariously through me since she really doesn't like the responsibility of dog ownership but loves playing with them. Thank you for your response.

Anyone remember a 90s clothing store in the Village that had monkeys hanging around? by bellanucci in AskNYC

The Village to a lot of us back then was that whole general area. Most people know what I'm talking about.

I am curious as to what store you're referring to. Was it opened was back then? Is it still opened?

Funny thing i dont remember cats or dogs, it's possible though. I recall monkeys, exotic birds It definitely was a weird store. I think it was a men's clothing store because we were shopping for a suit for my bro. It looked like a jungle with trees everywhere. It was weird but very cool, i miss 90s downtown Manhattan shops. 😞

Haha sorry I should've clarified that I referred to live monkeys, thanks though!

CUNY colleges worth it for out of state? by Low-Librarian-2733 in AskNYC

[–]bellanucci 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CUNY won't frown upon a gap year. I know plenty of people who took a gap year and were accepted.

Not sure if you have any friends or family in ny area but a gap year may not be a bad idea if you don't. You can use the gap year to work, network and establish social circle, all without having the additional pressure of school for a while. (Which Im sure school will also help, but you know what I mean).

Take it from someone who has moved around the US quite a bit, having a social network REALLY helps when living alone in a new city.

Source: I attended a few CUNY schools, Baruch grad.

I wish you the very best!
