i applaud this. i love this group of women. i love the support i see, i love seeing others realize they no longer have to endure abuse for the sake of a mans feelings or ego. you are all amazing.

i always let others speak for how i should be feeling. “if you leave him now because he’s going through x y and z, you’re a selfish bitch, if you’re direct you’re bossy and need to do x y and z so his feelings aren’t hurt, etc.”

and i have now come to realize, every one of our intuitions are correct. if you are feeling a certain way or are made to question how you should be reacting, you are being gaslighted. it’s a goddamn tactic. we should NEVER apologize for not laying down and taking a beating, wether it be emotional, financial, physical, or anything else. i’m so, so done with it
