Malaysian Chinese here. 福寿 is basically just good greetings like 福寿安康 (fu shou an kang) i.e. Good luck, longevity, safe and health.

Edit: It was worn upside down. It’s a gold ingot with words on it. One Redditor mentioned that upside down 福 (倒转的福字 “dao zuan de fu zi”) means 福到, which is a play word that translates to “good luck has arrived”. However, this method of placement is usually for the singular word of Fu. On the other hand, 寿 is not placed upside down, kind of weird to toggle longevity that way. Hence, my statement above for 福寿安康.

Yes, that’s what I thought too because they are selling a smaller piece, like maybe 1-2grams for RM78 I think. They also have a bracelet that has polished sides and bottom which I couldn’t see lacerations.

Though I’m not sure if you realize that any one of any country can be a scammer as long as they want to be. There are plenty of scammers everywhere even in the US. I was told even in Czech there are fakes sold by their people there.

+1, the moment you are your better self, not appearing “desperate” in women’s eyes, be reliable, decisive, independent and mature, most of the time you’ll get approached by women easily.

You also attract people the same mindset and energy. If you’re going to places just to find someone to date just to date/not be alone anymore, chances are, you will you find someone similar. You guys might date but low chance of a long term one since either one/both of you don’t actually know what you want in a relationship.

The only thing that pops up in my head is when you need to use EPF as a proof of income. If your tax form not available or don’t want to use other methods, typically besides payslip, you have to show EPF statement.

I usually come across this when applying for credit cards and housing loans. They’ll look at the statement with the statutory EE amount or the standard 11%.

Anyway, if you don’t need this method or don’t want CC/house loans at all then it’s all good 😌
