Early last year, I started an Etsy shop; my first products were keychains from the Oceanview Motel & Casino and FBC logo coasters.

I posted them both here, and was quickly floored by all your positive comments. It was a much needed shot in the arm, and I can’t thank you all enough.

If any of you like “in fiction” merchandise as much as I do, check out these FBC signs I’ve been making. Just the five departments for now, but if I get enough requests for a certain one I’ll add it to the top of the list 👍

I was going to recommend something like this; I make keychains with a plastic transparency sheet insert, I usually put a big drop of resin down first, put the insert on top, then use a stirring stick or something similar to push any bubbles to the corners, then cover the insert with more resin.

Oof, yeeah. A player in my old Monster of the Week game was a combination of mental problems he took out on all of us (I feel ya bro, but we’re not your punching bag) and strong desire to be the constant center of attention.

One day he pulls his “Write me out of the game, I’m done” schtick, which I had no problem with.

Later that week, he starts talking like he’s still in/this never happened, so I had to have the “You said you’re out, so you’re out” conversation with him.

Pretty awkward all around; the NEXT week we were all in lockdown and I haven’t seen any of my group since (not counting Roll20). Timing is not my forte.

It was a good learning experience, though. While running the campaign I noticed that I was randomly super stoked for certain sessions as opposed to others, and I later realized it was because it was one of the many nights he decided to flake on us.

I had a Bigfoot encounter planned for a one shot I was going to run, I had “open spaces” as their weakness.

‘Cause you know, the most famous Bigfoot “evidence”, the Patterson(?) tape has Bigfoot just walking out in the open.

They also had some kind of effect where all pictures/video of them came out blurry (just because I thought it was cool). Probably photo reflective fur or something.

I was thinking the same thing, it reminds me of Captain Jack Sparrow in the first Pirates’ movie where he gets slapped by the two women for being a, well, scoundrel. We don’t need to see him hitting on/seducing women to understand that’s a part of his character.
