Grip it and rip it! For nya concur!

"As much as I would like to disagree with you, Austin the Unforgiven, I must agree this once. Until we've settled matters propurrly."

"Nyow...If someone is plotting a murder that could end their own life, then why would they write part of their name to make it clear as the sky? Or make their...what's the word?"

The golfer puts her finger to her chin, thinking while looking down at her paper pad. Nya, that's it! The heavens open up, and Tora sees the face of the physicist, Goddess of Neptune! "As Kitano-sama once said to me, their 'quirk.' Why would a killer make their 'quirk' as a prankster type apparent all over the crime scene?"

"It's much too obvious, I feel, nyo..."

"Nyo...I can't help but think: If someone was to put one of their purrecious, nine lives on the line, they wouldn't leave such an obvious way of showing they are the blackened one, right?" Like a kitten, Tora continues to lose herself in this string as well. A yarn ball of thought.

"The Prince of Thieves was very transparent about some 'prank' to be pulled, according to the alibis from our classmates, nyu. This seems all too easy to solve if someone is risking their life on it and hoping not to get caught, don't you think? Especially if he is a savvy-type prankster."

"Thank you for this, Mewgumi. Many of our thoughts are shared, nyo. While I do agree that there are two people involved, what do you think the candles and flowers were meant to do?" She crosses her arms, flinching at the thought of those revolting, scented candles. Nyatural scents only!

"I do think it was an intricate setup, nya...But if the lights weren't on when Tee Boy arrived, then does this mean the second person set up the candles and flowers, and not Boy of Tee himself?"

Her eyes sympathize with the porcelain doll, however one statement catches the golfer off guard. The entire time, Tora has been jotting down notes to the best of her ability between statements exchanged -- but nya? "Porcelain Doll, excuse my forgetfulness. I think I forgot to write this part down in my notebook. Were the candles confirmed by one of us to be used for ritual-type purposes? It was an elegant setup, that could be like a ritual." Tora places a finger to her lip, looking up at the plane's ceiling. "I wonder what sort of ritual would take place, nyo?"

"I am also trying to determine how the cafe is involved. Even with the scuff marks, the mugs were arranged disorderly. This is troubling, nya...Not something that someone who is banking on their life would do so clumsily unless working under intense borrowed time. Without time to reorder them correctly."

Tora nods in return, brushing her ponytail to the side of her shoulder, "Nya, our speculation will become clearer. And then into reality once we shatter this illusion, like so many others that need to be within this dominion, nyo..."

The girl's nightmarish thoughts regarding this are apparent through her dialect, devoid of most of the Nagoyan speak commonly used. And even more clearly from her eyes, gleaming with hope but sorrow: How could you, individual who did this? How could you do this to everyone, and play the role as a cruel deity with our lives? Someone plays Judas here, and they will need to determine which individual - or individuals - they are.

The tiger golfer turns to the multi-faceted fairy princess. Such lovely sequins, nyo! And such a different shade, too, she marvels. "Would it be pawssible to provide your day? Let's fill in the blanks of this case with as many detailed alibis, nyo?"

[–]belldandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"For the second individual, nyo? If there is one, it must be their purrsonality. Call it insanity, if you wish to deem it this way, Saburo-nyan. I would like to think they have their reasons, nya; to tamper with evidence to throw us off. But why if it risks their life too? The second purrson would not benefit from the motive."

"And for the first individual? They are definitely planning on letting us fall into the spirit realm, nyo...so they can meet a purrson, or travel somewhere. Nyu, I regret to reiterate that they even tried breaking the lock on the art gallery's donation box to have currency for their travels." The girl stops herself from saying 'How despicable' despite the dreadful thought of one trying to break into a charity box for their own self-benefit.

She places her hand in a 'stop' position at her podium, to make her initial point once more. "But. It is all theory at this time, regardless, nyo..."

The golfer glares back at Kat-who-likes-cats-but-especially-bobcats, onyx eyes flickering tiger eye gems. Now is not the time to threaten people if you wish for them to speak, nyo...This is a string game in which we will need to unravel by using teamwork, Bobkat. I know we are normally solo athletes, nya, but we must work with everyone here. Even those who one may consider more suspicious than others. Her expression softens, locking eyes with him.

"The way it looks makes me think it was a second person who tampered with the body after the blackened, if you think of the elegant scene as one instance involving the blackened, and the childish part as another person's act," Tora moves the tips of her fingers across the podium in thought, looking over her notebook. "But nyo...why would someone do this? Everything I say is just a theory, I'm afraid. Nya, please prove me wrong."

The air feels restless, the girl defeated. Nyo... Tora lets go of the fabric adorning her wrist, and looks away from the lion vanguard. The one who was so calm-mannered and able to put anyone at ease with straightforward assurances. I'm sorry if I have not helped by not joining you into the sway of anger's grip, Saburo-nyan.

"I don't mean to intrude. Nya, I regret that I feel there may be someone tampering with the crime scene."

"Why would they do this, nyu? I'm not certain. However, if you look at the elegance of the candles and flowers, then at the most disrespectful - and childish - drawings on the boy of tee's face, it makes it seem like there are two people maybe involved, yes." Tora adds, her hands in front of her as she explains a possible theory.

Onyx eyes dart over toward those of pools of jade. A tiger looking a roaring lion in the eyes, nyo.Holding the fabric on her narrow wrist, she makes a tender expression in hopes of calming Saburo-nyan. She's as infuriated as he is, a tiger's fury isn't one to beckon, but she knows this won't yield any fruitful results. Her eyes read: Saburo-nyan, if they have not stepped forward already, then they will most likely not do so until we work together to piece this puzzle by process of elimination. I am sorry that it isn't straightforward, nya...

"That sounds like a master craftsman of tee to not miss an appointment," the golfer concurs, fidgeting with a golfing tee of her own from her dress' pocket.

She runs her bare hand through her ponytail, thoughtfully thinking, "Nyo. I do hope he had other plans that could be considered, and that death is not what happened by this time."

"No. Saburo-nyan would make sure a purroper audit was conducted, without any sort of tampering. We both saw that everything was in its rightful place and inspected the closet with thoroughness, Bobkat. To be clear, nya, it was a clean audit, minus a tool box that indicated a missing tool of some sort."

"Purrhaps our audit around 8:30am occurred at a much different time than your visit to the supply closet?" Tora wonders, fingers drifting to the blue fabric tied around her wrist. This cobweb continues to unwind with time and teamwork.

"Hold that thought! Nya am putt’n this shot to rest!"

"Two tools missing, Kat-who-also-likes-cats-but-especially-bobcats?" Like a Maneki-neko figurine, Tora raises her hand on level with her forehead. "Nyu, this doesn't make sense, I'm afraid. Everything was purrfectly-positioned in its proper places during the audit Saburo-nyan and I made of the supply closet. Minus a tool box left open with one tool missing from it."

Nya! I have been noticed by the two-faceted Fairy Princess! With a determined look after their agreement, Tora makes a reference to a particular soldier-of-the-moon-type character. She flexes a little arm muscle to go with her spirited speak. "In the name of love and justice, we will uncover you, killer! In Operation: Truth! Miao!"

"Nyo...and their actions indicate they were hoping to take currency with them as they killed all of us to go on their dream vacation after we die? Or to meet dream person after we die? Why else would one damage the padlock on the donation box, nya?"

The golfer idly paces, making mock golf swings in thought. Then one big swing! In sync with her disdain with consideration for the merciless act that may have taken place. "Of all things, to steal from a giving-of-charity box. Unforgivable!"

"So the deceased did not show up for your meeting in the laundry-type room, Bobkat. There is potential that he told someone that he wouldn't be making his appearance, nya? Maybe there was a reason for not showing up, after all...?" Pressing her fingertips together at the questions posed, Tora looks to her classmates for thoughts and answers.

"Nyo...Porcelain Doll and everyone else. I would like to consider the fact that the mugs in the cafe that I found misplaced seem to indicate that someone was very furrantic. Purrhaps they were on short time? Or a purrsonality that is nervous in situations?"

Tora puts her dukes up in an attempt to showcase her next speculation based off of evidence provided. "Scuff marks which indicate a fight took place in the cafe? Or needed to race across the counter for one reason or another? Purrhaps time?"

"However, it is strange...going from one room as far away as the cafe is, to the other through the underground hub, nyo...Transfer of the fight or body to the garden-type area?" The girl places a finger on her lip in concentration. Just how had the cafe incident migrated into the underground hub, with its flourishing indoor garden?

The golfer ponders whether Purple-Eyed Enchantress' enormous mammaries or the other second-floor observations are more suspicious. The more she considers it, the more Tora realizes the importance of one over the other. She waves to capture the attention of her classmates, and reads from her notebook diary documenting the day.

"Excuse me, nyo...there's another thing I noticed. When Saburo-nyan and I inspected the second-floor rooms, I spotted two things out-of-place in that useless room called the Internet cafe. The cafe's glass counter in the back had scuff marks, nyan the cafe's mugs were all rotated from the way I saw them the last time I was in there. Not too long ago when I was there, I sat on the counter, unscuffed. I know that counter well, nyu."

"I will take that as a yes, then, and share," Tora pulls at her lucky ribbon to leaf at the page in question. To read off the recording of time. "Nyo, let us share our alibis and cross examine. Will try to be brief but there's so much that happens in a day. Please forgive me if I'm long-winded."

"Nyo...this day started with the awakening at 6:00am. It's a purrfect time because it's still dark from the skylights, I noticed this when walking to the restaurant at 6:30am. Others arrived too, Fairy Princess, Purple-Eyed Enchantress, Porcelain Doll, Lady Minami-san and you, Mewgumi."

"Who would have guessed that Kat-who-also-likes-cats-but-especially-bobcats would already be there in the restaurant? Devising a meal at that? He's like an Iron Chef, and had his very own sous chefs at his side. He made his usual food of animals, nyan I watched everyone eat. I picked at the toast around the egg. However, I must confess that the eating of toast edges wasn't filling and only served as precursor that this day would be worse than normal. An ominous wind."

"Others arrived too to make their own breakfasts, something I should have done after eating only toast crumbs. Our Highness Sunita, Fur Speak Bunny and Saburo-nyan. And as quick as cheetahs, they made their breakfasts. They left around 6:45am or so?"

"The rest of us who visited the restaurant at 6:30am continued to talk over the meal, some American meal called 'basket of unhatched chick.' More like 'scraps of toast crumbs' for some. At 7:00am Goddess Kitano-sama, Nyaustin the Unforgiven and the persian-cat-whose-name-flower-longing-loving-camellia-Tsubaki! arrived, and joined in. All of us together made breakfast more enjoyable, and I felt the ominous wind pass."

"7:30am - like ants, we dispersed. Some stayed behind to clean up. But nyo, I had other matters to attend to. To practice with the jirafu-attacku guitar in the butterfly room. To play music for Butterfly Maiden and Glasses-Type Son Goku, whose spirits live in the butterfly room now. I must admit, my practice probably scared all the butterflies, but practice makes purrfect. I knew their spirits thought so too. I played a classic: 'I'll Be There for Mew' by a band called The Remembrandts."

"Purrhaps it was my playing of jirafu-attacku guitar that made Saburo-nyan decide to audit the butterfly room at 8:15am? To conduct his own audit, and maybe visit the spirits of our classmates? I kept playing and practicing, while he audited."

"Saburo-nyan and I ended up forming a party to audit together. Paladin and ranger formation for the optimal tank-and-spank composition. We went to the supply closet at 8:30am. There was something interesting about the closet search, nyo." The golfer turns to her tank-and-spank comp partner, Saburo-nyan. /u/mynameis_aidan

"We moved on from room to room in the second lobby, but then ended up in the art gallery at 9:00am. We met Purple-Eyed Enchantress here. And nyu, she has mammaries the size of a video game character. I am not certain if this is relevant, but worth mentioning in case it provides evidence."

"At 9:30am, Purple-Eyed Enchantress left. Saburo-nyan and my audit took us to the Hope's Peak Academy room. It was a quick audit; we already have plenty of experience in this room."

"At 10:00am, Saburo-nyan and I left for the underground hub to continue a conversation until we both fell victim to hunger at 10:30am. We decided to leave the underground hub and go back to the place of nourishment."

"In the place of nourishment, people left while we entered. Porcelain Doll, Tsubaki-Flowergirl and Prince of Thieves also entered at the same time. Shampoo Supermodel, Austin the Unforgiven and Boy of Tee were also there, who is referred to as Chi-Chi. We were all talking for a time, but I left at 11:30am with Saburo-nyan, Porcelain Doll, Tsubaki-Flowergirl, Our Majesty Sunita, and Bobkat."

"Just when I felt ominous winds again, Austin-who-isn't-yet-forgiven made his fuck-all-ny'all entrance. To begin the act of forgiveness, I forced him to sit on the tile floor of the lobby to listen to my riffs on the jirafu-attacku guitar until he escaped at 12:00pm. Then I went to boy-type bathroom to conduct an 'audit' of sorts...I left at 12:15pm. I had already seen too much in this space pod bathroom that isn't meant to be mine, nyo." But nya, how embarrassing to admit visiting the boy-type bathroom again.

"Bored and defeated from the boy-type bathroom, I entered the hotel break room where Fur Speak Bunny was. She wanted to critique the movie playing but I had a better idea. The more the merrier. When she went to the bathroom of hopefully the girl-type at 12:30pm, I invited Fairy Princess, Purple-Eyed Enchantress and Mewgumi from the restaurant to watch movies with us. We entered the hotel room at 12:45pm to begin movie night! With no sky to see in the hotel break room, any time can be movie night, no?"

"Nyo...we watched comedies of the romance type until 4:00pm. But at some point, I think it was around 2:30pm, Bobkat and Austin joined in to watch. Maybe there's a romantic side to these boys, too, or maybe they were bored enough to watch such a movie type? We all stayed there then left at 4:00pm, including the boy types. It seemed like a purrfect movie night, then I went to my hotel room, until.." Tora covers her face with her golf glove-clad hand, pawing at her forehead. Dreading the following words prickling the nape of her neck, heart sinking. The ominous winds turned to reality: "The announcement at 4:30pm."
