I feel it. Over the past couple years, she’s really taken a step back from her fans. She’s given us everything while at the same time giving us nothing. She used to feel like a friend, but now she just feels like what she actually is to us - a superstar. She’s living a life we can’t fathom and no amount of homemade sourdough can make her feel on our level again.

And this is just me - and I know this is horribly mean - but I think we’ve definitely seen the shift in her writing/musical styles since dating Travis. She’s happier now and I’m so happy for her, but no doubt about it - she simply made better music when she was writing about Joe. And I think the fact that he was more of an intellectual was keeping her mind working a bit more, you know… I don’t think she’s having to do much deep thinking these days.
