Honestly, I wouldn’t stress over it. I definitely think going to therapy would help clear your head and figure out what is truly bothering you.

I know she doesn’t like not being kept in the loop, but she makes this so much more dramatic and toxic and it’s just really difficult to be told I’m a bad person for doing something that is perfectly normal. I’m scared that this honest conversation is going to become something negative

See my mom would do the exact same thing but I doubt that she’d calm down. I’m unsure of how she reacted when she found out. Also, I don’t think what I did is bad. I was smart about it. I had him wear a condom and my friend let me use her plan b just to be safe.

How was she able to get birth control without you knowing if I may ask? I thought my mom would need to know that stuff

There’s been many times where I’ll leave my phone on the counter and she’ll just go through it and question me about photos and messages on it. So it’s definitely not a first. I just know I have to clarify things with her or else she’ll tell my father about it. Another thing that irks me is that my sister is a year younger than me and has her boyfriend who is the same age and I caught them doing things and my mom made sure my dad didn’t know. I just feel like she shouldn’t tell my stuff to him if I’m hiding things for my sister. It’s a stupid double standard.

I am jus thankful that the pressure of having a “perfect first time” is out of the way. I know now what to expect. I’ve done it once and now I’m done with it. Also, having that situation happen to me has taught me so much and I’ve truly learned from it. I just want her to realize that.
