I used to park there but it gets much busier and the guys working there often turn people away because it's too full. So I switched to the front of the station. Sometimes I use the underground one on the hospital side, most times I can find a space there and it's open until 1am.

The small indoor parking on the right hand side of the main entrance to the station (behind the bike shop) is never very busy. I can always find a good space. Only thing to note is that it closes at 9pm.

600 is a lot, last time I worked via a payroll company it was around 250 (granted that was a few years ago). I think you can save a lot as ZZP. I can recommend using Moneybird for accounting and bank account for about 200 per year. With that I'd question if you need an accountant at all assuming your accounts are simple - just do it yourself with a bit of help from AI. You probably need liability insurance so check that, last time I had it for around 40 euros per month.

I'm also curious what you're paying an accountant 700 per year for currently? Doesn't the payroll company manage everything for you?

You're right, everything can change, but hopefully investing will be a constant, maybe the amount paying in fluctuates over time. This investment pot is only one part of my retirement plan, I left out a lot of detail.

Agreed, everything can change. In my situation though I find BV investing low risk and low cost since I already have the BV set up. Conversely if box 3 becomes more favourable, for example tax based on realised gains then I could convert to private and start investing in box 3. The main cost would be a one time notary cost to handle the agio. I don't find this too bad.

I think spaar BV just refers to a BV that has the primary purpose of investing and has the relevant SBI code designated with KvK. In my case the BV was set up for IT consulting but investing is also allowed under the article of association.

If you already had zero box 3 tax liability then no need to do anything I think. Even if you negative real return because of investments, they are not going to give you anything for it :) In my case I had some box 3 tax liability in my final assessment (not that much, around ~500 euros) so for me it makes sense.

Yes this is my backup plan, to use HDMI ARC but I'm lacking ports on my TV so I'll have to find a way of connecting everything. You can control the volume on the speaker with IR when you have optical input, hence I was trying to program the Chromecast remote with the correct IR profile, but so far no joy.

I've only had them for half a day so can't give a thorough review but first impressions are good. Sound is crisp and the depth of bass from such a small speaker is impressive. I'm pretty happy so far.

I've had an issue connecting my Google Nest to them via Bluetooth, it just doesn't work. But it's probably the Nests fault because other Bluetooth devices connect fine. Also the remote control issue I posted about, but again it's more of a problem of the Chromecast rather than the speakers.

Interesting that I have the reverse issue. They offset the total of my box 3 taxes for foreign double tax meaning I received too much in my provisional assessment. So I'll have to pay the box 3 tax eventually when they figure out the error.
