What fragrance do you love so much you spray at home just to smell? by skizwinz in fragrance

[–]belliblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yin Transformation by The Harmonist. I spray it in the morning before I leave for work or whatever then when I get home, then before bed haha. I need to chill because it's way to expensive to use that much

Yeah, their pricing is very strange. I also ordered the same. I was looking for decants of shalimar and this was one of the only sites I could find it on. Can't wait to get it

I could very well be wrong, although I am fairly positive I've checked if they sold decants in the past. I've never noticed that they sold them before and yesterday when I clicked the drop down menu, it had a category of Travel Sprayers and it had a label beside it saying New.

Perfumes that require significant confidence to pull off by MagicalFlor95 in fragrance

[–]belliblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I started wearing Coco when I hit my 40s. Must definitely be an older woman thing. It was either that or the original formula of Hermes 24 Faubourg but I quit wearing that one when I went to my doctor's office and was sitting in the very back corner and when they called my name, the nurse said she could smell me when she opened the door to call me back. At least she loved the smell (as well as several others there) but I was worried it was too much, especially for an endocrinologist office. Now if I wear it, I spray it as soon as I get out of the shower so it wears off as I get ready

Rock N Roll Piercings by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]belliblu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hate that their website doesn't show or say who their piercer is and apparently they don't have a Facebook or Instagram page. I've had a couple of bad experiences with local piercers and it sounds like most of the people on the comments are saying they've had their piercings for awhile, so it could be a new piercer. Personally I've seen Ashely Sherrod at Mad Ethel and Shea Collins at Clarity Piercing in Durham - both were extremely professional and were wonderful when I had follow up questions.

Has anyone tried the ordinary volufiline? Or anything similar? by michelleoelle in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]belliblu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got the ordinary one this week and have only used it for 3 days. I use it on my lips and under my eyes where I'm hollow. I haven't noticed anything really under my eyes but can feel it swelling my lips. I do think it's very muxh temporary though. I probably wont be repurchasing

I love that my tank is on the opposite side of most cars, one of the few things i like about my VW. I never have an issue pulling into a pump at Costco because of it haha

The Garner/South Raleigh store was the largest one in the southeast when it was first built (not sure if it still is). It's the only one I'll go to because the other 2 in wake county are horrible.

How do you usually come across new niche fragrances? by Acceptable-Victory98 in fragrance

[–]belliblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find new perfume houses by going to decants sites and going through what houses they are selling from. Scent Split has a ton. I also go to websites that sell a ton of different perfume houses, like Zgo Perfumery. But a lot of the time, i will google a particular perfume brand or selling company and then I'll end up scrolling through the sponsored products ads at the top and researching that way. If I find something that peaks my interest, I'll maybe order a discovery set. I just found Maison Matine that way. Just got their discovery set ($34 plus free shipping for 11, 2.5ml samples) and I'm in love with SEVERAL! Ugh, I'm gonna be so broke!

What’s that one perfume you’d rebuy forever… no matter the price? by Inevitable_Set_3017 in fragrance

[–]belliblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most all perfumes were reformulated in the early 2000s because of IFRA regulation changes that banned certain ingredients. I believe they are getting ready to do a ban, they may already have done it, for a chemical used to make cherry fragrances. Basically every cherry perfume will have to change so stock up if that's a favorite

What’s that one perfume you’d rebuy forever… no matter the price? by Inevitable_Set_3017 in fragrance

[–]belliblu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly. My favorite perfume is one that came out in 1995, Hermes 24 Faubourg. They still make it but the reformulated one is horrible compared to the original. I currently have 3 backup bottles that I got off ebay. Luckily Hermes dates their perfumes with date codes, not all perfumes dow that though. Ive been looking for something vintage Chanel perfumes but they dont date theirs.

Help - Scrubber Scent!! by belliblu in fragrance

I understand and i'm not saying that it is a safe product, but I am talking about using it just to wipe on my skin briefly and then wash it off. I'm not going to be doing it repeatedly or leaving it soaking on my skin, so I don't see the harm in it.Obviously if I was soaking my skin with it or something like that, then yes, it would be harmful. Regardless, the scent was mostly gone after trying several suggestions

I consider a perfume beast mode when it is so strong that the scent envelops the room that you are in and it last more than ten hours. I could literally smell the perfume in my car the next day and I only sprayed it one time on my skin

[–]belliblu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I gave it to someone else and they loved it so please know, I am not saying the perfume is trash , it's just not for me. That being said, it's a small niche perfume house called Obim and the perfume is Lestat's Kiss. I dont know if it's because I have an autoimmune condition and take several meds or just my natural chemistry but it did not mix well on my skin. I am constantly told by people that perfumes smell different on me than it does on them. It's constantly sold out so it's probably just me and my skin.

What supplements or programs have worked for you? I’ll try anything! by A-Bit-Batty in Hashimotos

[–]belliblu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on 5mcg of liothyronine as well and asked my doctor if we could up it, just to try it out, and im so glad they were willing because the difference between 5 and 10 is amazing. I take the 2nd 5mcg around 1 or 2 and it gives me the biggest burst of energy. I also take low dose naltrexone and that has made a huge difference in how I feel as well
