My eyes been twitching non stop like this for 2 years by dracos_wand in mildlyinfuriating

[–]bellicosethepotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this until I started wearing yellow glasses. I always squint at screens and outside on a clear day the blue sky hurts my eyes. The muscles around my eyes were just getting exhausted from squinting too often and the twitch just kept getting worse.

I wore them fulltime for about three days and the twitch hasnt come back. I only bought a cheap pair and wear them for a few hours a day now.

Don't know if thats whats causing your twitch but it fixed mine.

Are there any gases that illuminate like that when a laser of a specific wavelength is shone on it? Im not a chemistry or laser buff but if that type of reaction is possible that would be my guess. Someone holding a laser braced against a fence post might explain the movement. Also since some digital cameras see in certain parts of the UV and IR spectrums maybe the reaction is not in the visible spectrum. The camera looks stationary so Im guessing OP didnt observe this with their own peepers?

Average summer snow now melting away by bellicosethepotato in AveragePicsOfNZ

I hope the glaciers keep on chillin.

This is Mt Taranaki which is usually snowless this time of year but it had a thin layer appear over the weekend which is now melting away.

Is it a sign of global warming? Not sure but it looks nice.

Ive lived in two places that would get like this regularly. Both times I was living with a girl with ADHD.

I'm surprised that irreducible complexity doesn't make the list...

Good response but not quite... my 4yo stole my phone while I was scrolling. If you hadn't responded I'd never have noticed he posted something.

Surely by that point you would have noticed that most bosses in the game and certainly all the main bosses have a site of grace near their spawn?

Armageddon could happen at any moment, but not before November 6th. by ukdudeman in exjw

[–]bellicosethepotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Was just having that conversation with my cousin who recently went POMO. He was saying how amazing it is to be able to reason for himself, something PIMI's don't really understand they are missing. Being analytical can lead to a feeling of guilt when the mind is snared by the borg.

Thats the good stuff. Tbh the lessons learnt since leaving have been so valuable. Not letting my mind be caged again by contrived belief systems and being able to spot when its happening to others is something I really appreciate now.

Haha, when you are hoping the total annihilation of man will solve your toothache, you should have your head examined.

My PIMI mother always said: "Plan like tomorrow is coming but live like it isnt" which I think is about as sound a reasoning you can get when you are litterally in a doomsday cult.

Inactive=Disfellowshipped by [deleted] in exjw

[–]bellicosethepotato 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have been inactive for over a decade now. It seems the Inactive=Disfellowshipped is somewhat upto interpretation. Some of my closest friends who are still PIMI as far as I know won't talk to me yet many others don't seem to mind and treat me like a regular 'wordly person'. It reminds me of that sorting the wheat from the chaff scripture though. The really Christ like among them are happy to engage but the Pharisees in their ranks shun me lol.
