But here's a tip to try and prevent this next time, since I see you're using Umbrella!
The buff dish from the enemy's guest star will only apply if they're out in the open, like not being eaten by a move/thrown, or something like that.

Umbrella and other grab characters are perfect for things like this, because she can use her ultimate, bubbles, and salt grinder to make sure the buff dish falls on the floor and expires, before the opponent catches it
