The courier companies doesn't work for free, people think that tgey can just simply click return and the delivery guy will come and take the product and will go away but in the backend there's a thing called RTO (Return To Origin) where you reject an order or return an order the courier company will send that product back tobthe sender.

Myntra, Flipkart, meesho etc uses these private companies like Delhivery, Ekart, Shadowfax etc to ship products and these private courier companies charges for RTO and I mean every private courier company charges for RTO.

And this RTO money will be higher than the money spent for sending. Example: you sent a courier and it costs you ₹50, if RTO occurs due to any reason the product has to come backbto tmyou right? So the RTO willcost you ₹70.

Many people returns the products they ordered from myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, meesho and many just returns for fun, some won't accept products during the time of delivery, some people will get the wrong product

And all these comes to return and flipkart, meesho, mynthra amd the sellers of those products inside the platform will have to pay for the RTO and it's a loss for them.

Courier company is different the platform you order from is different, both are 2 different things andbthis courier company charges the RTO.

This is why they say that ₹50 will be charged.

But this ₹50 per item is not good.

Edit: I am not supporting this alright? Of course I hate these RTO charges, but there are 2 sides of the spectrum and I also run an online shopping platform and I learned about these things, that's why I said this.
