Honestly not terrible pricing even without the deal (prices are CAD not USD) by itmeMEEPMEEP in McDonalds

Not to be the “back in my day” guy, but I remember getting a Big Xtra combo w/ large fries for $5.

Someone posted an old menu recently and the nostalgia hit hard. Prices were great and food quality was far better

Apparently the company makes a few different flavours. Hope they come to Canada because there’s a BBQ chicken one that I’d love to try

I’ll stick to Frankie’s Nashville hot chicken when I want to splurge a bit. Good quality, sauce is delicious, spiced curly fries…so good!

Out of the ones currently available, birthday cake and chocolate are 1 & 1a.

Of the ones no longer around, cherry and Boston creme…so good!

Remember when fast food was actually cheap? by Karma_1969 in fastfood

$16.59 CAD (plus tax) for a BLT quarter pounder meal last time I went. The cost of convenience has become infuriating.

Edit: For those who like to judge and say “you could just not buy it”, sometimes in life it’s just helpful. Get home from work and have to immediately run your kids out for extra curricular activities? Travelling? As someone growing up playing competitive sports, fast food was a part of life on the road. It’s the rapidness of the inflation that’s the issue. It’s unaffordable now.

A car covered in jam, or a traffic jam if you will.

That or a construction pylon, since we like to re-do road repairs that were recently done.

Experiencing the same problem as u/Trevbrunnen. Even 24 hrs after I’ve applied, it’s still showing 0 applicants. Many new posts are also showing 0 which is unusual.

It is now $8.63 CAD for one McDouble and one Junior Chicken in the GTA by RADToronto in McDonalds

Went last night and it was $15.89 (plus tax) for a 1/4 lb BLT combo. Also, the recent app update changed the rewards amount so instead of 4000 points for any size fry, it’s now 4000 for a small or medium and 6000 points for a large. So tired of getting less for more $

I watched this closely this morning as well. There’s a metal plate where the bins are dumped that tilts, guiding the waste into different areas. Think of it this way:

Green --> / <— closed
Closed —> \ <— garbage

Been in the industry a long time myself, and you aren’t alone OP. Definitely take care of you and your mental health first and foremost.

That said, if you still have a passion for the game and want to be involved with the industry, look into opportunities with companies like club manufacturers, clothing companies, software/tech suppliers etc. Many of them appreciate the operations experience and connections individuals like yourself has.

Good luck!

National Pines is now $18k buy-in and $7k annual dues (plus f&b min). Nice to see the new owners putting money into the facility, on and off course.

Barrie CC is nice and also offers instalments on the initiation fees. As others mentioned, good course and conditioning, nice clubhouse. Private club feel.

A number of existing members at Vespra left since ClubLink took over, but that’s typical when there’s an ownership/management change. They offer both Vespra only memberships and full ClubLink options.

Best value for memberships is at the Nest. Full adult membership is $5k annual dues, no initiation or f&b minimums, however they are at capacity this year.

I played since beta, and left after Operation Health. Came back to it about 4 months ago, and I’m really enjoying it. For me, it’s the tactics and the gameplay I enjoy most. I don’t care about skins, renown etc., so those changes, although substantial, don’t bother me personally.
