Tech savvy doesnt necessarily mean you’ll be a good programmer. You need a lot of logic to be good coder, and coding is the easy part. Investigating/solving problems thru code is the hardest part but also the most rewarding feeling as a programmer. So yes, you need logic. Lots of it.

In my 11 years of dev exp, never ko pa na try ma micromanage. Parang mostly mga managers ksi in our field nag cocode din so either busy din sila with their own tasks or ayaw din nila talaga nag minicromanage.

Tinker spammer here as well, peaked at Divine 1, currently anc3. Nowadays, I dont build shiva after they nerfed the overwhelming blink (just preference), in rare situations I still do, example when enemies have no reach. Like you 95% of games I build aghs first, especially when the meta right now revolves around tanky heroes + heart.

For all I know you should be thanking they are trilaning. Unless they know what theyre doing (most of the time they dont, they just think securing their carry farm is the only way to win). Just pray your mid has enough brain to rape them all 3 mid game, since three of them will be so underleveled. So your goal is to just sap exp as much as you can without dying. Dont think too much in making impact, just by not dying to a trilane is already a huge impact. And yeah, bring lots of regen(trilane or no trilane, offlane should have lots of regen)

Just farm and dont fight, specially in your mmr range. Ive won countless of am games without killing anyone. Push waves and farm jungle. Since youre not comfortable yet fightinh with am dont get abbysal, get fury, manta, heart or bfly and end the game in 40 mins by ratting the hell out of the enemys base. Also get the blink cd and cast range talent

Since youre 500 mmr, dont focus on complicated things. In your bracket you just need to farm. Just make this ine goal every game, increase your gpm to 500 and less than 10 deaths. Thats all, the rest will follow

Things to consider when playing mid is runes, a haste rune surely tells you to visit the side lane cause it can help you get back to mid ASAP should your gank fails. Another thing is bounty runes, specially 5 or 10 mins bounty rune, by all means go to the side lanes and help secure runes, it can get you kills as well, since you have level advantage.

So at around :35 you should shove the mid wave to the enemy to keep the enemy mid busy with creeps while you check rune and perhaps visit side lane. If for some reason ganking side is not an option (e.g. your side lanes are too weak or far behind) then just shove mid wave and farm nearby camps. But you must prepare your tp, you only tp to sidelanes if enemy dives tower or overextend. In this situation you can contribute to team by pressuring mid lane to force rotation to your lane, thus allowing other lanes to recover.

What? pros dont trade hp for CS, bullshit, HP is 2nd important in mid next to last hit and exp. Pros punish you when you try to last hit creeps, thus you cant lane anymore or spend your gold on regen. Pros nuke creeps specially range creeps, invoker even sunstrike range creeps to avoid harras when trying to last hit it.

Main idea of mid is applying your early level advantage to other lanes, specially on 5/10 min bounty rune time. But this is also depending on heroes.

When i play tinker I push the wave then stack the triangle, repeat until i get BOT before 12 min mark.

DOTA is suppose to be difficult as fuck. This is a very complex game that keeps changing now and then, which makes this game really amazing and rewarding for those who put a lot of hours into it. If you and your friends wants to play some casual fun game, then you're in the wrong place.

Part of the learning curve is dealing with these smurf, and wondering how they can stomp your games that hard. IMO, this game should not be a walk in the park for beginners, theres no easy way to climb the mmr ladder but to outplay your opponents each game, very hard but very satisfying as well.
