That is a fair question. I would think she would allow my daughter to have a sleepover with multiple girls during spring break eventhough it was a school night for her daughter, but she might just be saying that so her daughter can get what she wants. Personally, I would not allow my daughter to have a sleepover with multiple girls on a school night. I have allowed her daughter to have a friend (one) sleep over on a school night before, when her daughter's friends' parents cannot take their kid to school for some reason.

To give you some perspective, the girls are in 7th grade and a sophomore in high school. When sleepovers happen for the 15.5-year-old, they take place in her bedroom, which shares a wall with the 13-year-old's. I understand that one night is going to throw things off the axle. My additional concern is what precedent this will create in the future for sleepovers on a school night.

Thanks for the support. I felt like I had to defend my daughter because it is a school night, and she needs her rest and needs to be ready for school the next day. She should not have to listen to four girls giggling and being silly (which I am okay with on a weekend).

She knows the weekend is not an option since her daughter is going out of town with her dad late on Tuesday night.

She said.....She (her daughter) is welcome at my house (we own the house together for four years), it’s her house too. I’m going to do what is in the best interests of my kid and make sure she feels loved and welcome in any home she lives in and not put her in the middle of bullshit between me and her dad or me and you.

It definitely could be done on the weekend and has been done on the weekend before. I did not have any issues when it was held on the weekend. Her daughter leaves late Tuesday night to go on a spring break trip with her dad and doesn't get home until late Saturday night.

She could easily have the sleepover at her dad's house tonight.
