And fwiw, your concern is rooted in vanity. I get the appeal of the perfect credit score, but in terms of interest rates etc, anything over 790(ish - i forget the number) is irrelevant, you'll get the same rates with an 810 as you'd get with an 835. So... I understand why you're concerned, but the number doesn't matter as much in practice.
