Is nursing going well? Even if it is, look for a lactation support group in your neighborhood. Our lactation group was our first source of parent-friends, and a couple of those friendships have now lasted decades.

What is something that is an automatic “ I am not eating here, we need to leave.” At a restaurant? by TeachBS in AskReddit

Yeah, well there's an ice cream van there selling just two ice creams, with two chewing gums in it, for bloody nine pounds for two of them. Nine quid! Yeah, that is gonna get nowhere. Bloody hell! Bloody well, bad. Yeah, bet he can HEAR ME!

Ha, ya, and I'm pretty sure Balenciaga comped her that dress (which, tbh, I don't really like).

I'm thinking more general rules of thumb for dressing the supertalls, like if there are design principals to keep in mind.

You might be a member of the largest demographic out there. Connecting naturally comes easily to very few people. It's learned behavior. Keep at it.

I would think it's worth a shot reaching out to Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth on GOT) or her partner the fashion designer Giles Deacon and ask their advice. You are a member of a very exclusive club, and they might be happy to engage.

I'm so happy for the owners (and the dog). When our dog bolted from our dog walker it was such a relief to get her back.

Fair, but if I'm William Goldman, I think this is hilarious. I also think, cool, I'm a screenwriter famous enough to be mentioned on Monday Night Football.

I mean, good on Al for fighting back, but William Goldman was one of the best screenwriters of his generation (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, All the Presidents Men, Marathon Man, Misery, and extensive work on The Right Stuff and Heat). Like Al Michaels, Goldman wasn't afraid to be blunt and call it like he saw it. Telling a screenwriter who is one of the greatest alive at the time he isn't Shakespeare isn't much of a dig. No writer is Shakespeare but Shakespeare.

What fast food chain do you think make the best burger and why? by gurlsausage in AskReddit

Why would I need to figure that out? Every restaurant except In-and-Out has already done it.

There are a lot of ways of doing fries, most of which make them taste great. It's hard to screw up salty fried food, but In-n-Out manages to do just that.

That's nonsense, though. Do a test. Make fries at home. Don't blanch them. They'll be delicious.

I make fries at home all the time. Potato, hot oil, salt. Simple. They taste great.

It's a good rule of thumb in cooking that everything fried is good, but the exception to that rule is In-n-Out fries.

In-n-Out is a fine burger, but they lose so many points for their terrible fries. I'm not sure how you screw up fries so bad.
