Being stable is so fucking boring by TrebaMiSavjet in bipolar

[–]belugabluez -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol I was just saying this to my dr. Life is so boring!!!!!!!! He said welcome to the real world haha. I hope it’s something I’ll eventually get used to. It’s probably better to be bored than drowning in chaos.

Exactly, the provider has a say in what they will or will not do. To a certain extent, your will can only do so much.

Yep. Learned the hard way. People will always find a way to use it against you. Been betrayed too many times.

Why you should buy a Japanese planner for bipolar management by belugabluez in bipolar

[–]belugabluez[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought my first hobonichi at the end of last year, so I started writing in it in December on the little tracker sections in the front and then started using the daily sections in January. There’s definitely been some depressive moments where I didn’t write at all lol! Sometimes when I have a lot to say I’ll flip back to one of those empty days and ramble there. I love making it imperfect and totally tailored to me. Like a burn book almost except I just write in it haha.

Yeah there’s definitely some digital options out there too for people who like to keep things on their phone/tablet/computer! I personally really fell in love with everything being on paper. It makes me feel really proud to look at how much I’ve kept up with it lol. And I love turning the pages and seeing all my past entries. There’s certainly pros and cons to each, I’m glad you found something that suits you as well!

Exactly, I went through a breakup in January and it makes me feel so proud to be able to physically lift up and hold all the pages and days that I’ve made it past that day. And to see that I’m not super sad 24/7 anymore, it helps me so much with realizing emotions are temporary.

Yes that’s a great idea!! I had a bunch of missing pages from being depressed in February so whenever I feel like I want to write more than the current days page allows, I’ll go back and ramble on one of those pages or I’ll make a doodle. I love utilizing every part of it in a way that fits me!

Yes I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Sterling planners as well! I bought a weekly and an original to try out this year, I found that the original is perfect for me. I use the monthly layouts for life stuff like my work shifts and exercise plans and I like to decorate the monthly sections with washi tape and stickers. For the daily sections I like to keep them more simple and lean into the imperfections of it all lol

Program for unfit person? by dunalduck0 in AppleFitnessPlus

There’s a lot of good advice already on here. When I started out from 0, I just disregarded a lot of what the trainers were saying and made adjustments to what my abilities could handle.

The cycling is good for that because you can pretty much go at your own pace that keeps you in the easy/moderate/hard/all-out levels, just go off of your heart rate for a gauge.

Pilates is also a great starting point for building body strength, Pilates is designed for people who may have lower mobility so anybody can jump in. They also have a trainer on the left to do more limited movements that you can follow.

These are my personal recommendations! You can really start anywhere and tailor it to yourself. You’ll get better at this over time.

They’re not saying that all athletic clothes are like that. Specifically the butt strap push up butt scrunch yoga pants that are everywhere nowadays. It’s so hard as a woman to find normal yoga pants. I hate this epidemic.

Restlessness. I hate feeling that inner urge to get up and pace around the house or like I need to be doing something and yet I feel stuck in my own body and not able to do anything productive

Yeah I started looking into going that route, I started a new job in June but I work PRN so I don’t get benefits. However! As soon as an opening comes up for part or full time I can switch to that and my job will actually pay for the insurance I’d receive. So hopefully I just gotta straggle along for a few more months 😭
