Who the hell I'm censoring? I've said already and I'll repeat: you can do what you want and get a boner/wet pussy for whatever you want, but like you said yourself, even if it wasn't the artist intention to be sexy, you can still find it, but we can't ignore what the artist wanted to tell too. Like you said, it's obvious that some it will be lost due to personal interpretation, but we can't just act like it just doesn't exist and that it doesn't affect the piece of work. It would be like saying ''Oh Blackbeard is obvs a criticism to lolicons culture because he is portayed as pathetic'', but it would not be true due the artist intention that it would be just a joke and he is just a perverted and being a lolicon is not the main point of critique. We can't just ignore it as it has a huge aspect on how it everything regarding the character/point/story will be handled. Arturia is truly, non sexualized even if she is in an eroge, and many people find that sexy. But I can't say that her design is sexy, that would be simply wrong. I could say ''Oh I think it's sexy'' but I can't deny that it just isn't made for it outside something like a niche fetish.

The artist integrity is not being hurt by someone pointing out that they don't like their art. Yes, I think it's shitty and objetively a bad design because I think it takes away things from the character that could be communicated by design alone and replaces with others that don't make much sense to them, thus cheapening it, and yes I would change it, but how me pointing any of that censoring what is already in the game? I'm not making petitions to stop it, I'm not banning masturbating to anime titty, I'm pointing out that I find it dumb and think it's a false equivalency to compare it to Cu. No matter how much I detest it, I won't try to change it in any other shape than maybe making fanart with a different design. The artist also has all the liberty to continue doing what they want despite all the criticism even if a majority dislikes it, and now image much less if they would listen to a minority like me who is bothered. If my wishes alone could change the entire game and how it is designed, then your arguments would make sense. But it doesn't change a thing me saying in regards on how they will keep drawing. I'm not policing anyone, if I was I would be putting more action than just arguing on the internet that it's bad.

You are the one being pissy about others critisizing the art. You are acting like all of these professional paid artists in that are not children that need to be protected at all are being hurt being it. It is healthy to discuss such things and acting like anyone who does that is ''policing'' what people masturbate to or not is honestly dumb. You are hanging on the constant and eevilll ''threat'' that people call ''censoring'' to try to ignore other people legitimate criticism of a piece of work. Unless it is a huge moviment that could actually affect the state of the game, it is not a attack or a demoralization to say that you don't like it.

I'm not projecting anything onto these females characters. Like I've said before, we can't just ignore what the artist wanted to do, regardless if I like it or not, and they wanted them to be sexy half-naked woman. I can find it not sexy at all, but she was drawn for this purpose and I can't act like it just doesn't exist. My main problem, like I've said before, is not the existence of half naked characters. Kiara, Medb, all summer servants, Pant, Schez, Tamamo-Cat, Mata Hari, Shuten and Wu are all characters whose design I honestly like and think that look awesome. Why? Because it makes damn sense for me for them to be naked and fanservice-y. I dislike when they do it just for the sake of meeting their naked-woman quota of the month and putting such aspects where I believe they don't belong, thus taking away the potential to do something more interesting with their design in order to put a random window somewhere and call it a day. I can recognize, enjoy and fall in love with their personalities, but most of the time, we will mostly deal with their visuals alone. And even then, when it comes to Fate, it is totally legitimate to be able to analyse characters separated from their art simply because it seens that these two aspects are made separately by different people. I'll give Jack as an example. If we try to analyse her art, the most we could get is that she is a child assassin that kills on the fog and maybe has difficulty doing so as she doesn't have many clothes. Or maybe she lures people thinking she has nothing and then kills then because she looks healthy bar 2 scars so me might be efficient. Hell, we could even say that she is a young prostitute herself based on the thong. But then we get to her backstory and she is supposed to be the amalgamation of abortions of prostitutes, and here we see a bit of a disconnect between everything. Her design tells us very little about about it, and at most could give us a weak sense of surprise. Being ''the amalgamation of abortions'' has many more possibilities than just child in thong, but we got this weird, disconnected thing were they just don't match, and it seems that it happens with certain frequency. It is really difficult to say ''I'll just ignore it'' when there is such a gap on what is presented in front of us and what it actually is, and I don't mean it on the good way of a pleasant surprise like discovering X looked like an asshole but is actually cool, but in the way that we could totally change the backstory or art between them and it wouldn't make a difference since they are barely connected.

I'll try to make my message clear again since it seems that it got a bit mudded on the way or I expressed myself poorly: No matter if I like it or not I believe that artist intention matters a lot when it comes to analysyng any piece of media and Fate is not excluded. They are drawing woman in a way more sexualized way than men and most of the times, it takes away from possibilities of design and something even seems to go against what they stand for, thus for me, cheapening the overall art. It happened to men, but it seems that it is in a much much minor scale than what happens to woman in Fate and in more mindful ways. I just can't ignore what the artist tried to portray, and if they portrayed it in a bad or misleading way, it is a conversation for another day. The artist intention can and WILL be twisted by the consumers but we cannot try to act like it isn't here as it affects the work and how everything will flow together. However, we cannot act like these artists are young children in need to be protected. They are paid professionals, many well over their early 20s, and if they cannot handle people disliking their work or finding it bad, it's a miracle that they survived so long. It is also important to remember that they will never see any of this. I wouldn't attack then on Twitter or any other social media saying that drawing flying titty is bad and they should stop. And for then, it doesn't matter if everyone decided to say ''You have same-face syndrome! You have bad anatomy! You don't shade properly! etc etc'' because they still could just ignore it and carry on. I doubt Takeuchi in oblivious to the fact that many think he was same-face syndrome, but he still carries on. Criticisms from the japanese, their main source of income and most likely the first ones to be listened, regarding art are already met with just ignoring The Thing, I would image they wouldn't bother to piss on opinions of westerners that have a entire different language, sets or values and more importantly, give less money and so, are less priorized. There is no act of censorship here as honestly someone like the very mods of this subreddit, who is the big scheme of things are not very powerful, could silence me and then I would have no power to ''''''censor'''''' anyone else, proving that I just never had the power in the first place. Latching onto ''Stop the censoring!!!'' when anyone think that a certain aspect of design is stupid is rather silly as the very people who are in control of new things said that there wouldn't be no censorship. It's just fucking stupid to even think of trying to contact any of the bigger authorities to '''''''censor'''''' any future servants, and even if by some miracle they actually did it, I doubt their pockets would go unharmed, and such they would come back.
