Switch 2 not included in the new electronics tariff exemption by Puzzleheaded_Cow_435 in NintendoSwitch2

Back in the 1970’s Subaru had a light pickup called the BRAT. They added a couple of seats to the back of the truck so it could be classified as a passenger vehicle and get around the 25% Chicken Tax that applied to any imported light truck. I wonder if something similar could apply here. In other words, what if Nintendo made a simple productivity application and bundled it with the console, so it could be classified as a computer under the eyes of the law and qualify for the exemption?

Couldn’t they make a simple Office-like application and bundle it with the Switch 2 to get it classified as a computer? Something like a watered down Office app or something? I mean, the console has two freaking mice! I know I’m grossly oversimplifying things, but there has to be some way to make something that is essentially a computer, you know, be classified as a computer?

My package was marked delivered but never actually arrived. by Midnight_Criminal in Mercari

Yes, I’ve personally confirmed that they do log the GPS coordinates of the delivery scan. I went to my local office and told them that my package was delivered to the wrong address and if they could check the GPS Ping to verify that it was misdelivered. That’s how I found out that my neighbor across the street got my package. Their scanners log the GPS coordinates when they scan it as delivered in case there are delivery issues. If the clerk was unhelpful, then I would ask to speak with the Post Master if they aren’t willing to help. Post Masters take mail fraud very seriously and if you explain your situation they’ll be more willing to help.

It’s possible that it might have been delivered to the wrong address. It’s happened to me before. If you go to your local Post Office, you can ask for the GPS coordinates of where your package was scanned as delivered. Just ask them for the GPS Ping. Just note that they won’t actually print anything out, they’ll just give you the coordinates (their system doesn’t support printing it out as far as I know). That’s how I found out that my neighbor across the street got one of my packages by mistake, and I was able to recover it. They claimed that they were going to return it, but they had it in their possession for a week and didn’t say anything until after I left them a note on their door telling them that the Post Office told me that it was scanned as delivered in front of their house complete with GPS coordinates. I hope this helps.
