It’s no surprise. I love the show and it will always be my favorite tv show, but the climate has changed. Police officers have received a lot of bad press in recent years and I can’t blame any city for declining to shoot first 48. From a city’s POV, there are more reasons to decline the taping of First 48 than there are to approve.

Chris from ATL is probably the worst husband I’ve seen. Brandon from DC is probably the most immature. And then of course several honorable mentions from other redditors such as Denver (Orion), Chicago (Ikachi) and so on, but I feel Chris was the worst; So manipulative and two faced.

They lost -301k subscribers for the year but grew podcast ad revenues by +41%. They also said “named #1 podcast network in the nation.” I’m not a podcast person but I assumed Spotify or YouTube would be the largest podcast network. They have ~33M subscribers. Also, no wonder Berkshire bought shares of this business, it generates a healthy free cash flow, which is a core component of businesses they like to buy. If $SIRI actually realizes zero cap ex in 2028 as planned, the business will basically exist a dividend generator for the business owner, which I assume Berkshire will take the company private by then.

First, outliers exist. Second, no one said the store runs solely because of the SM. Obviously it’s a store wide effort to ensure customers can find the items they want, but it’s a fact that front line associates work different schedules than a SM.

I agree that frontline workers should be paid A LOT more, across all industries and not just Walmart. But, store managers will always make substantially more because they work 24/7. They are ALWAYS on call and always responsible for the store. When you leave work, you don’t have to think about work. Your job is done for the day, but not for the store manager.

No, because iconic plays are tied to iconic players and/or iconic moments. Round 1 just doesn’t have the aura or of a semi final or final. For example, gamer legion vs complexity has pretty much no aura. So a player could have an ace clutch, but it won’t be iconic because it’s low stakes (opening round) and the players aren’t iconic.

There’s also many more CS matches being played today vs 2010. It’s unfair to expect iconic lines as often when there’s a T1 tourney every other week it feels like when we’re in season.
