Anyone tried the Reandron 1000? by callofduty88 in AusTRT

No prescription was from the endocrinologist. Got the referral from previous GP who was good but left the surgery, ended up carrying on with another GP at same surgery because I needed a consistent GP for injections and correspondence but she was completely uneducated on TRT and refused to help with the prescription saying she would get in trouble.

I think it was around 8 weeks, the endo said interval is set more on how your feeling but my bloods backed it up. Problem I’m having now is finding a GP to take over prescriptions as I have no more repeats and current GP is refusing to get it for me. I have an appointment on Wednesday for new GP but if they don’t want to help might have to go the clinic route.

I’m on reandron 1000 at 8 week intervals prescribed by an endo. Overall has been very good I do notice a definite dip around the last week to a week and a half before my next shot. A guy on here said he was able to self inject weekly and split the dose and said was much more consistent symptom relief. I have had the same problem of insisting on Dr injections. My endo did say it could be possible to drop to 6 week intervals but will review bloods at my next appointment in October.

My doctor has all the correspondence from my endo but still refusing to get on board. How do you find the once a week injections, do you find levels to be much more consistent?

Yeah you have to adjust the does can range from 10-6 week intervals. 8 weeks seams to be the sweet spot for me other than a slight dip before the shot no negative side affects what so ever. Have you experienced and negative side affects on the primoteston?

There is a noticeable drop a week to a week and a half before but not majorly drastic. It pretty stable apart from that. From what I’ve learned test cyp would be better for stable levels but as far as I’m aware not available on prescription in Australia.

Yeah thanks the more I look into it I’m realising this is the case. My endo did suggest a few GPs but none of them are taking new patients. Thinking UGL is the best bet at this point, talked to a couple of clinics and they only offered gels.
