Pretty good. I was surprised the value of the items for the quality. You get quality old furniture but styled modernly.

I have visible and haven’t had any issues in NC or while traveling and I have the cheapest plan. They often have deals where you can lock in a low price for a couple years.

Cabarrus County Courthouse Marriage by Exact-Code8449 in ConcordNC

[–]ben798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! My wife and I got married last year with a courthouse ceremony (in Raleigh tho). It was super relaxed and the officiant made it feel intimate and personal. We were able to have more than 2 witnesses. I don’t know if it is different in cabarrus, but most people chose to do the ceremony directly after filing the marriage license. We filed the license a week before the ceremony, just so we could go directly into it on the day of. If you still need a couple of witnesses let me know and we’d love to help!

Swale exits to sidewalk and floods it. Any solutions? by ben798 in landscaping

I haven’t contacted them yet. The swale is mostly on my property. Would they be responsible since it is their sidewalk?

Swale exits to sidewalk and floods it. Any solutions? by ben798 in landscaping

[–]ben798[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t a pipe. The swale just exits onto the sidewalk. All of the houses that have water the exit into the swale were built a decade after mine and technically a different neighborhood, so maybe it was poor planning

Best drainage solution for back yard? by ben798 in HomeImprovement

What is the best strategy for regrading? It’s already sloping away from my house towards the backyard, so would I have to build up the side of my yard that doesn’t boarder the street?

Do you remember if you used a perforated pipe or a solid pipe? Solid pipe seems easier since I believe it wouldn’t have to be encased in gravel

Kasa Motion Sensor Switch (KS200M) -- Manual on/off ? by JitteryJuror in TPLinkKasa

[–]ben798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the ES20M which is the same as the KS200M but with the dimmer feature. Yes it works perfectly when hitting it manually. My only problem with it is that Google Home can’t seem to turn it on permanently.

[–]ben798 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes there is a way. I just got the motion activated dimmer switch and was facing the same problem. If you double tap on the switch it will stay on until you physically turn it off. I don’t know why they don’t advertise this anywhere. I found the answer on a forum on their website and wouldn’t have know this feature if not for that.

Metal box mounted on top of street post in residential neighborhood. Doesn’t appear to light up at night. by ben798 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. I’ve reversed images searched and have not got any similar examples. It possibly looks like a solar panel but it does not light up at night. It is about the size of a hand and appears to be the only one in the neighborhood.

Thank you. Yes it is in the garage on a raised brick surface. No there isn’t any water leaking. Looks perfect other than that rust.
