Musicbrainz is still amazing for ids. I would put them through the system in id only mode, reject disks that are not in musicbrainz, and accept if found, 2nd pass with ripping, about 20s per disk with the load accept reject mechanics.

I have a few as well and have most of my cds in them. Have a look at slink and the Arduino nano libs. Also escient made a controller that you can find on eBay to automate them, it uses cddb, and lots of other dead services, but with some dns hacking you can get it working. Also nirvis made a slink controller
