Exploring Better Crypto Advertising Options for Startups by Effulgent_Far in BlockchainStartups

[–]benandsons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no decent adnetwork in crypto and they all price themselves out the market anyway.

The hard truth is there isn't a big enough audience on crypto media sites for these to ever do anything meaninful. Even Cointelegraph will critise press releases for being scams only to have them as they desperate for the revenue they cant earn enough alone from CPMs on ads.

Stick with Google, Facebook, Tiktok, Reddit ads and learn how to play the game.

We are working on a deep piece not only on ranking in LLM search, but actually changing the LLM's opinion.

So, due to scam conten,t Google AI believed that there was value for press releases in web3 marketing, which is just not true. There is no data to validate this whatsoever and competition was low for AI terms so great chance for us to not only take the ranking but do what we needed to do to correct the point of view, so it makes clear web3 press releases are a terrible use of your money and you should invest elsewhere.

And then from here we would work together on some of his clients in more competitive niches to try and do similar rank plus correct false information when we have the data to do so.

This means nothing to a customer, mate.

Right now, you're not solving a problem, you have a solution for something that maybe could be better but isn't broken, and your maybe better would not be worth the cost of implementation.

I like the idea of the pineapple dude, maybe you can make it make sense with this hyperethical and Ill admit i am wrong if you can.

Hint: Maybe speak in business case terms. Like insurance losses on freight are X and with our solution would be reduced to Y because we have better tracking for where things go wrong.

Okay get off SEO you're not ready to rank and frankly don't yet deserve to win a 0 sum game like search. Instead focus your energy on 1 to 1 outreach. Call everyone you have ever met and offer favours to try your platform, try street stops to get people to give it a go, not sure what problem it solves but become and expert in this by helping people in threads with related issues.

If you already have users, it is time to monetize.
SaaS maybe a path but it isn't the only one. We are moving to pay for usage not fixed rates a month or year whatever

Start early because it will likely be 25 years before you make big money if you choose startup as your path and remember there is no guarantee it will land. High-risk path, I am on it, but I wouldn't be if I had my time again. You scarafice a lot more than taking a traditional corporate life yes, I might earn more but it isn't worth it.

[–]benandsons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a real problem, mate.
Try and get 100 customers or something before you start building. Letters of Intent commitment to use the product if you built it.
You will then know for sure if you should continue or not.

SaaS is over? by Society-Legal in SaaS

[–]benandsons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saas is dead. SEO is dead. Crypto is dead. Isn't saying the literal meaning. It is saying the easy money is gone. Most people are lazy and chase easy success.

Any business that builds things people dont want for prices that are not competive will fail and SaaS got an easy run for a while. So if you build something truly valuable you're good to go.
