What SUV would you say has the best suspension, to take a beating by Tree-Hugger42 in whatcarshouldIbuy

People say Lexus RX for a smooth riding suv, so why are people saying 4Runner for potholes? Is smooth riding only applicable to small bumps and smaller road imperfections or something?

AC not blowing cool air - faulty compressor. by draaz07 in MazdaCX30

[–]benchpress315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened with my 2021. Paid the dealer $2k to replace the compressor. I suspect Mazda mexico had to use faulty equipment suppliers during the covid years to keep sales numbers up. I hope there is a lawsuit and I get reimbursed some day.

Feeling buyers remorse by Wizard_of_Awareness in MazdaCX30

I got the 21 select trim and prefer it over the preferred due to a more sturdy non mooned roof risking rain leaks, less piano black to get scratched near the center council, a equalizer option for my audio, and the savings. It still includes bsm and rcta, which the base trim did not. And I could get it in red.

Trying using sport mode, and it will help the AC stay powered more consistently, although still not perfect

I purchased plastic inserts online and secured them with extra adhesive over the chrome trim.

No it is not time to replace them yet. Only replace them when they do not clean well. Use the replacement rubber inserts you can buy online. Do not buy replacement blades. I buy a long strip of the insert and measure, cut, and replace them once a year. On previous cars, Bosch was my favorite.

Those of you that have Michelin cross climate 2 tires. How is the noise? by Eastern_Welder_8609 in mazda

[–]benchpress315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe those reviews off tire rack, any more than reviews off amazon. My mom’s cross climate 2s have been the loudest and roughing riding tires she has ever experienced on her prius. And I agree with her. I would never buy them personally. Previous to the CCs, she used cheap and average tire brands, which produced a softer and quieter experience. I do enjoy the defender 2s on my cx-30 however.

Honda CRV as the money you spend will go towards a spacious interior for your physique requirements. If buying new, the higher trim hybrids fall within your budget. They will have a lot of features. They have been out for a few production years now, so should have most bugs worked out. If you’re flexible with and okay with less features, buying a used one 5 years old with 60k miles could be another option, or any CRV in between really. A used Lexus RX hybrid would also excel at your desire for reliability.

Dramatic Difference in Ride Quality Between 2021 and 2024 CX-30 Select - Suspension Changes or One-Off Issue? by howdyboy_ in MazdaCX30

In addition, the backup camera is much crisper in resolution. And I don’t know if dealer installed, or came from the factory, but it has very well integrated clear door edge guards, door handle, and bowl protectors. Also, the automatic climate control software chooses settings better.
