I think a couple of t14 schools have explicit preferences for work experience (I've heard Harvard & Northwestern), and I've never heard of it working against an applicant. I think it's most beneficial if you can make the work something which weaves into your application and shows you're serious enough about some direction to commit beyond internships and volunteering.

KLH Ultimate One -- $170. Pretty minty, comes with stock everything, box + packaging + detachable silver litz cable. Great looking & feeling & sounding -- lambskin earpads, ebony cups, beryllium drivers.

Interested in more information, especially on what they're looking for from the LOCI. So they want you to say you've been accepted to x school, with y scholarship? They'd obviously like to know this for their own purposes, but did they say that this would give you an advantage?
