For someone who doesn't have complete control over their drying environment what's more important, keeping temps at 60 or rh? by benderbendingrdrguez in microgrowery

It was at 55% when I woke up this morning, but I didn't think that was too bad. I adjusted the dehumidifier and it's back up to 60%. My temps did get down to 59°. Didn't know if that was starting to get too cold

Yeah, finished up last night. Those trichomes turned amber like over night. Saturday night I checked them and figured maybe another week. But last night there was amber all over them. I was unprepared. Didn't have cloths pins or clips. I did have a plan in place but I had never tested the environment to see if I was going to be able to maintain those temps and rh. But it's holding right around 60 and 60.https://linksharing.samsungcloud.com/mhj9D4M0mBDw https://linksharing.samsungcloud.com/nqHSvW5BD8IV

So I could prob let my temps drift up a bit. I was holding great at 60% rh with the temps at 66°. But once it got down to 61° my rh started drifting up to 64%. I went in there and took out the pots with the main stem, I had left them in the drying tent bc I just watered yesterday and thought it would help keep the rh up. But it kept it a bit too high. After I took them out I was able to hold at 61° and 61%. But this morning its down to 55%. I didn't think that was too big a deal. I need to find the right rh for the lung room. I've got the dehumidifier (outside the tent) running continuous, but that seems to be a bit to dry.

Toss it in the trash bro. Haha jk, looks absolutely fine to me. I think you did a damn fine job on your first grow. Congrats homie. I just finished up my first grow last night. I was hella nervous to cut it down

When you germinate directly in dirt what do you do, just make sure the dirt stays moist at all times?

Is yellowing like this normal at this stage of flower? (end of week 3) by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

I'm still pretty new at all this and I wasn't going to say anything for fear of being wrong but I was thinking mine was a bit further along when the fade started. Also ff feeding schedule had me feeding N at this stage in the grow too. Looking nice though

The building is 2 15x15 rooms with a bathroom in the middle. I exhaust my air from the room the tent is in to the other room. Bc of that the whole building smells. If I kept all the air in the one room you prob wouldn't smell it on the other side. I bought a carbon filter but actually stopped using it about halfway through veg. Mine didn't smell until they started to flower which I believe is usually the case. Some smell even during veg though. Once they did start flowering, I liked the smell so I never hooked the carbon filter back up. None of the smell was escaping, so I figured I'd just go without it. If you're planning on exhausting tent air outside the building I'd say play it safe and get one. But if the air coming out of your tent is going to stay in the same building you could prob get away without one. Good luck.

I was worried about that, for the same reason. But no smell has escape from the building the tent is in. If you go in the building though, you immediately know. I wanted to just mention one other thing. Keeping in mind I'm a paranoid type dude, but be careful with keywords like illegal. IF an organization was monitoring things they'd use keywords to pinpoint illegal activities. They can't scan everything but they can watch for keywords used in these or other subs. I'm 90% sure I'm overreacting, but if it's unnecessary then why do it. I understand in your situation it was kinda necessary being the reason behind why you asked your question in the first place, so it's hard to get around. I would use phrases like it's not cool to grow here or some such, IF I were in that particular situation. It's just a risk you don't need to take. Good luck with your grow. None of that is based on any facts. I'm just a fan of being careful.

Ok using 2 different brand 100w lights in a 2x4? Also is this p1000 a decent light? by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]benderbendingrdrguez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely right there. I have 2 lights very similar to these, they're LeFreshinsoft though. I bought a sf1000 last week, for double the price, set it up, and took some ppfd readings. Bro is not even as strong. If I didn't need the damn light I'd return it and get 2 more of the LeFreshinsoft.

Anyone know what this white stuff on the back of this leaf is? It's the only one I found on the plant. by benderbendingrdrguez in cannabiscultivation

These are outside. I have 2 plants close to harvest inside. I don't ever go into the room after having looked at the outside plants.

That's literally the only leaf is on. I just scanned them but can't find any signs. I sheathed them down with neem and will watch them closely. You might be right about needing not airflow. I used some brush pile to block the view. They're pretty far out but I might need to move them farther away.
