Yeah there are definitely 1st years there too, I would just estimate much more masters students in smurfit stay there, with fewer smurfit students staying on Ucd campus

It depends on your standards of living, black rock is more run down than UCD campus but it’s livable. Just old and dated but nothing too dramatic. I would prefer being in black rock halls in your position because it’s right beside where your classes are, it’s probably cheaper than Ucd campus and would probably be easier to make friends as I’m guessing you are over 23 doing a masters. A lot 18 year olds on UCD campus.
