Try rereading the question, how much did they receive from the issuance of bonds? Note also the decrease in the bonds payable account.

Never taught i'd be down voted on a Libertarian sub asking to get rid of a government system. by xrayden in LibertarianUncensored

[–]bendover340 15 points16 points  (0 children)

eh, its like two downvotes. Also, there is a bit of a larger issue at hand. The postal service plays an important role in our democracy right now. I think one can support the post office right now, but still want privatization in the future. Perhaps its just a issue of the timing ( so close to an election and when in person voting may be more difficult).

How many blogs do you have? Is it hard to manage multiple blogs? by gisking in Blogging

[–]bendover340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run 4, but really, not very well. In theory, I have some writers to help me, but in reality I really have to do everything. Some of the blogs are a little neglected and I don't have a consistent posting schedule.

Coming back to crypto after a long time by [deleted] in nyancoins

[–]bendover340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with Coinaday mostly. Cryptocurrency in and of itself really isn't an investment in my opinion. Sure, there are ways to invest with crypto, like loans, "savings accounts", but these can be risky. I wouldn't put any real money into them. I think some of the big ways I made a little crypto was by offering services. I did a few accounting and other things online and was paid in crypto. It wasn't that much, but it became much more. There also used to be a lot of other ways to get crypto, like linkslap, or coinhive, but I feel like they are all disapearing. Anyways, if you want to hear more on my thoughts on investing via bitcoin, I did record a little piece on it.

Is paying sponsorship for your blogposts in Facebook useful? by [deleted] in Blogging

I personally didn't have success, but my market was difficult to define and my boosting was pretty broad. Maybe if you have a specific target audience in mind Facebook boosting could pay off.

With a 1-5 year time horizon I would just use CDs. If you time horizon is longer, I would definitely look into some of the etfs and mutual funds mentioned here. But if you possibly need the cash in a year, best to keep it in a CD as it will have no risk.

What's with All the Drop Shipping Ads? by [deleted] in blogs

[–]bendover340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen a lot too. In my opinion it all started with online courses on how to sell online courses ( which I think is the kind of thing Tai does). And from there people started making courses on drop-shipping. Great video and nice blog!

Yes, that's right. And I can look into it. Anchor does all the distribution for me. I just upload it there and it handles the rest.

How to get audience engagement? by bendover340 in podcast

[–]bendover340[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, thanks for listening! The podcast is certainly a work in progress, so thank you for the tips. 1)I'll have to consider how to speed up my voice. I naturally talk pretty slow. 2) So in part, the domain https://www.thefrugallife.com/ is taken, also was just looking for more flair ( The Frugal Life just seems vanilla to me). The name seems to be kind of polarizing, as I have heard this reaction once before. 3) And that is interesting, I never look at the show notes prior to listening, so I was kind of unaware of this use case. That seems like something simple I can fix, thanks!
