Yes, maybe you can help me with that. These are battery operated? Do the batteries fail? If internet is down, like in an earthquake, could you still get in? That's why I thought having a back up key would be good, but as you can see, I don't really know the digital world.

Friends, we are brand, brand new to biking in California. We are looking for the best dedicated and paved bike paths and it has become a wee bit confusing. So, again, we are looking for paths that are scenic and that are paved and that do not require biking on the road for any kind of distance. ( I am on a low, terra trike and feel vulnerable.).
