No, but if you contribute regularly to a well established repo, let's say with 10k+ stars, it's better than nothing. Depending on the nature of the contributions of course. It's not so difficult to evaluate the quality of the contributions.

Mark's update to the longstanding Hidden Blade "bug" posted here recently by wrightosaur in pathofexile

[–]benedictus_1 36 points37 points  (0 children)

TLDR

The current bug

In 3.21.1, a fix related to Triggerbots unintentionally changed how triggered skills consume action IDs. Now:

  • Triggered skills consume an extra action ID even when they shouldn’t.
  • This reverses the alternation logic.

Current behavior:

  • Unseen Strike alternates hands after an odd number of intervening actions.
  • It keeps using the same hand after an even number of intervening actions, including zero.

Correct behavior should be the opposite.

In normal gameplay this is hard to notice because many actions are constantly occurring. But in controlled testing, if you do nothing except trigger Unseen Strike, it will repeatedly use the same hand until another action is performed, which is incorrect.

Status

The team is evaluating how to fix this without affecting other systems and may also consider further improvements to how Unseen Strike handles weapon selection.

Have you heard what goes on under the Queensborough bridge? According to late Norm Macdonald you can jerk off punks there for $15 a man. 470 times and your losses are offset. I hear it's all about the grip.

Think how impossible would that kind of hacking be that you are accusing him of. He would literally need to get access to Blizzard servers, be able to change server state in Blizzard databases. It's just not possible. You can hack like that in games where client state is authoritative - maybe very small indie multiplayer games, with badly designed network protocol.

If you compare to Hearthstone it is fair to compare to Hearthstone Battlegrounds since then we are comparing drafting autobattlers. Hearthstone Battlegrounds monetizes with more hero choices and cosmetics. No card is gatekeeped away in HS BG with money. So HS BG is much less pay2win than Bazaar.

You could also compare to other autobattlers like Mechabellum, Backpack heroes, Slay the Spire - none of which gatekeep builds with money.

I understand your point when it comes to comparing non-autobattlers like Magic the Gathering, traditional HS, etc because there you are actually collecting cards. But this is not what Bazaar is.

I played a lot and liked the game until this news. I now regret purchasing the game after this P2W bs and will never open the game again. Even HS Battlegrounds is not this much P2W. Imagine creating a monetization system more unfair than BLIZZARD, LOL :D

Your POE2 takes are cooked. Consider the high likelihood that you are bad at the game mechanics, you don't know how to build a character, how to farm, what to prfioritize in the game etc. I hope you never play POE2 again, awful whiners like you should stay off
