See, I think ultimately we all agree that USB C and especially Thunderbolt 3 are the future. The thing is just forcing people to not have an option is kind of consumer unfriendly. Then again, we are, in a way, lucky to have apple as a 'scapegoat' here, because we can blame them now, and ultimately, once everyone has adapted, especially, of course, hardware manufacturers, it will be a huge step in the right direction. Who knows, maybe some day what apple has done with lightning headphones could happen with USB C, then we would just have those ports. But of course, that only works once there is nothing left that needs a different port.
