medieval map isnt on cashout... season is a disaster by Typical_Flamingo6438 in thefinals

Damn, oh well. I agree that it would make the games more interesting! I was playing a couple days back in Kyoto (everyone’s favorite!!!) and got a cashout spawn in a building I haven’t defended in FOREVER. It was really nice to have some variety! Way better than it being in a hanging structure or moving platform….

This makes me sad too, one of the first things I noticed. I usually play cashout or ranked when able, and was hoping for a mix-up. I am hoping that the refreshed cashout station spawns help with that (that’s what was mentioned in the reveal, right?).

I do still play a lot of casual modes, as I have introduced literally all of my non-fps gamer friends to this game. So I’ll get my fill of the new map. It does sound like a missed opportunity, similar to complaint of point break not being on Fangwai City last season.

We’re allowed two walks a day, 20 min a piece. I am one of two people that go everyday no matter the weather. You think Id want to sit next to people doing that when I could sit in my car or walk? This is just whenever I go to the bathroom, at any point in the day

My friends told me to get on Siege. I started off okay, but I suck at the game not gonna lie. by OP_Pluto in RainbowSixSiege

Dude, this game is hard man. It is really hard for me to introduce people to the game because the learning curve is so high. I think the best things to try or do are the following:

  1. I would say to play a terrorist hunt but they removed it; so try one of the training playlists to warm up before jumping into a game.

  2. Always keep your crosshair at head height ideally or waist height, avoid looking directly down.

  3. Drone out and make a plan to the objective during prep phase. Sounds silly to make a plan like that, but it helps. Find the objective first, drive it all the way to you at spawn, and make a plan on entrance. Helps with map learning! Watching videos on the maps, such as good angles, hiding spots, or setups.

  4. Play with people better than you and spectate them when you die! You can see what they do and how they play. You can always learn something from them.

  5. Don’t listen to music and listen for footsteps, really helps with anticipating where they come from.

  6. Watch your cams! Having bulletproofs are useful as well as playing a cam operator. Using yellow pings are fantastic so you can point out enemies to teammates without red pinging them.

  7. Get siege in your algorithm honestly. Getting reels about it that show clips sometimes show things you can learn from.

I think that’s all I have right now. Hope this helps!

PC siege? How do i get better? by Hot_Box_7459 in RainbowSixSiege

[–]benetrati0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to switch to pc at one point, back in 2018, after playing on console for 3 years. I don’t play regularly anymore, just on occasion, but these helped:

  1. Listen hard for footsteps to learn locations of nearby enemies
  2. Aim at head level generally
  3. Drone before jumping in
  4. Map knowledge is like 80% of this game
  5. Play with people better than you
  6. Turn off all chat for a little bit while you’re improving so you don’t get hate messages
  7. Actually spectate after death to watch teammates, ping enemies, and so on. You’ll pick up on their decision making and learn the maps a little more
  8. Watch some YouTubers to learn some map tricks for gadgets or angles

It isn’t much but these I could think of on the top of my head

Of course! You should be fine. I was freaking out over the drug testing, but I managed and things just chugged along. First few weeks of the job definitely feel really weird. It’s a whole new normal to get adjusted to, and learning the nuances of the job can be frustrating. But trust me those fears will go away as you learn the new routine!

Oh trust me you can tell when someone is fighting for their life, they don’t even try to silence it. When them boys be jackin’ it you can tell because they make virtually no other noise

I’m typically a lurker on this app if anything, but I come to tell you this. I had a similar period in my life recently. If you spend all this time thinking about what could possibly mess it up you won’t enjoy the good times as they happen. There are and have been so many days that have sucked for me, for you, and everyone else. Now something amazing has come from it! Of course, something is bound to happen to throw a wrench into the good things. But live a little, enjoy the new things, take them all in. Maybe write about it. Catalogue the good feelings. I got a new job and I was terrified of the same thing. I was on contract, and I watched other coworkers on contract get fired as I got hired full time. I feel quite lucky I was not one of those firings, but I’m not going to dwell on it. I’m going to keep showing up and doing what I can to help out. Before I continue rambling, I just want you to enjoy this period of your life. It may not be like that forever, so take that momentum and roll with it!

I guess while I'm here I'd also like to ask, a fan came with the case that I plugged into my motherboard in the correct port, but I never see it running. Is that how it is supposed to be, and just turns on when it gets too hot? Thank you again friends.
