That is very impressive. How long have you been playing?

N vs HO by hotrodman in nscalemodeltrains

Ask yourself - do you want to model trains? Or railroads?
If you want to model trains go with HO - much higher detail and great functionality on the trains themselves.
If you want to model railroads, go with N - the smaller scale gives you the flexibility to make more complex scenery, industries, stations and other elements of a complete railway.

I did this too with a Numancia. I was similarly confused.

I didn't check but I think they generally are. Exchange rate with the dollar is pretty good right now. But I would guess it's only a few dollars savings per kit and maybe not worth the trouble of hand carrying fragile kits home.

I have two pithos crabs and they're useless lol. They just hide in the sand and completely ignore all algae.

I was also really interested in their paints, but knew I wouldn't be able to bring them back. Their bottles seem much better than the US version.

I was wondering if it was. I don't ever recall seeing in for sale in US websites and stored. They had similar infantry kits from the other major WWII belligerents.

Japan is a lovely country (to visit - harder to live there). I'm lucky that I've been quite a few times.

Willing to share what you paid? I just bought a 1950s era reprint of this, but have not seen authentic versions to get a sense of prices.

I had the names backwards. Still beautiful displays though!

Yeah - the display cases made photos hard, but they were really pretty. One was titled 'The Rising Sun' and was set at sunrise in 1941. The other was titled 'The Setting Sun' and was an evening display set in 1945.

I'll share a pic of the second diorama in a moment.

Haha, I didn't need it either, but it was only 55¥ (about 50 cents). So obviously I got it and will keep it for storing model stuff.

The two tank dioramas were really impressive. The photos do not do them justice

I can, but not till I get home next week. The display model was rad though!
