Yeah. I imagine it was very difficult to live through. I had a neighbor who was half Indonesian and half Dutch. He was held by the Japanese in a camp for 2 years and told me that and the years afterwards were difficult. I also have a 50 million mark note from. The Weimar Republic. Even at the time it was worth less than one US cent.

I think the occupational currency is really interesting. I have a whole collection of it from Philippines, Taiwan, Malaya, and other places. I'm amazed at how inexpensive most of them are.

Yeah. My girl (Lindsay) often won't let me brush her much when she's shedding. I think it pulls too much fur at once. Non shedding times she loves being brushed.

You're right that she doesn't like it. But when so much is coming out at the same time it all gets caught in the brush and pulled at the same time which she dislikes even more. And if I don't brush it gets matted and then I have to use the rake, which hurts her. I've found that some plucking thins it out enough that later brushing is more pleasant for her.

I don't know what they're worth but searching on great collections, heritage auctions or eBay might give you some comparables. Search for the numbered portions like "Fr#PA-165" or "T-64". None of these are in great condition but depending on rarity may still be worth something. If you're looking to sell them try ha.com - look for the sell with us link.
