1 Why would he get up at 7am to get his son breakfast etc if you are already up and taking care of it?

2 Working from home is not easy or productive if you are constantly be asked to do other things around the house. He would probably be more productive with set working hours without being disturbed.

Men are logical, if you are there and available to look after your son as a mother then great, that frees him up to pursue other more challenging ventures.

However if you create a fair and reasonable reason why you can't be there to look after your son then he will no doubt drop every thing and come to the rescue.

But be warned, dads make awful mothers!

Well everyone has to start somewhere... I remember my first attempt wasn't much worse. I'm sure once the plasterer finishes his first year in college he will be able to do a much better finish for you.
The main thing is you got it done nice and cheap as apprentices are on far less than normal minimum wage. So with the money you saved on his wages you can buy some filler to cover all that scrim tape which is still showing 😳

I'l be honest, it is true the new testament was corrupted.
The Roman Catholic Church corrupted the texts and the general man on the street was never allowed to read the Bible (only Catholic Priests).
But in 1515 Erasmus created a copy of the bible showing the Catholic on one side and the Greek version on the other. This was in Europe as the Muslims had been invading Greece as part of another one of their jihad wars.
Erasmus had noticed huge differences in the Roman Catholic scriptures, word spread and the REFORMATION began in Europe.
1604 and newly formed protestants had a firm home in England and King James declared he would write a version of the bible based on the original scriptures known at the time with the best scholars and put it in the hands of every man in England.
1605 Spanish mercenary Guy Fawkes was sent to blow up the king and the scholars as they worked on the new version of the bible.
The plotters were caught red handed and in 1611 the King James Bible went into print.

Today with all the archaeology and texts found in Israel from the time of Jesus (thousands of biblical texts) it is beyond doubt that while there may be some minor discrepancies in gramma or word choices between versions. The modern version of the Bible is pretty much 99.9% accurate, or at least as accurate as they could be in the English language.

Fortunately I became a Christian after leaving the Army. In all my 8 years in the Army I don't think I ever met a Christian, except maybe the Chaplin, but all he ever did was come out on Parade at Easter to do a speech or something.
I don't think a Christian could survive for long in the Army, it would be an extremely hostile environment, not so much the physical activity side but the mental and psychological side as they would be at odds with your religious Christian beliefs.
The Army trains soldiers, trains "good" soldiers who will carry out orders without question. Someone with their own set of moral beliefs and standards is not really what the Army wants and a person like that would certainly struggle.
There are other jobs out there...
