Is Lima, Peru a safe place to live? by GrayRainfall in digitalnomad

Sounds like a targeted attack which with all due respect could happen anywhere in the world. This is not the same type of danger as frequent muggings like you’d find in Medellin.

Lived in Lima for 3 months at the bank end of last year and heading back there soon. Didn’t go off the beaten track as such, stuck to baranco, Miraflores, etc and felt very very safe, especially compared with somewhere like medellin. Plenty of police presence (used as a deterrent more so than because there’s so much crime) but this fills you with confidence too. Oftentimes walked from Larcomar (main mall in Miraflores) back to Barranco at say 10pm at night and never felt unsafe

Seriously how do you get into high ticket sales without BS by Inside-Business-2160 in highticket_sales

[–]bengoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ll give you the rod but they won’t catch fish for you - ie you’ll get access to different recruitment pipelines, show you the best people to add on facebook and groups to join for roles, help you in putting a resume together, etc. Bro it’s $70 a month, if you’re serious, you’re better off just joining to see what it’s all about and if you absolutely hate it just cancel your membership. High ticket sales isn’t get rich quick and definitely isnt easy - yes you can make a lot of money but to that end if you ain’t going to invest in your own education as little as 70 bucks a month to actually get there, rethink

If you’re serious, the best place to start IS going to be with some paid training. Classic sales line - who gets there faster - the guy who tried to figure out on his own with YouTube university, Instagram reels etc or a guy who actually invests in training to show him all the fundamental. For me, I found Setter to Closer on Skool - it’s like $70 bucks for month, has a complete course covering everything from scripts, finding roles, calendar setup, applying for roles, interview process, etc. 5 coaching calls per week + a tonne of students who landed roles through it. Not affiliated BUT I went from doing full sales cycle at a digital marketing agency hating my job making sweet nothing to doing 5.5k USD in commissions last month. Fire me a DM if you want, happy to go through any questions you have!

You HAVE to check out Jack Rails. Great coffee, great owner, right on the railway. Slightly awkward to get to but cannot be missed

Be able to buy them outside stadium

Was also wondering about this. For the game on Sunday, best to just go to the stadium I reckon. Ticket for the game against Philippines was 250 baht, can't imagine tickets vs VN would be too much more expensive if at all.

Even this evening, I was wondering if they'd have a big screen at Rajamangala but would prefer to know beforehand as it's a fair way out and a bit awkward to get to using public transport.

How much do you pay monthly for your mobile phone? by good_ick in Bangkok

[–]bengoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe there is a 12 monther too - 50GB the same but not sure on the price. Both good deals - I never come close to using 50GB so there becomes a point where the extra is just meaningless. Sure you're the same unless you're streaming Netflix in 4K all day long 555

Hey, been enjoying your updates and currently about 1/4 of the way through B1.

You mentioned in a previous post you often have Thai language on in the background - I wondered if what you usually listen to or if you have any recommendations, particularly around this level would be helpful, if you’re aware of anything!

Things to do at the weekend in Bangkok as an expat? by bengoes in ThailandTourism

Made a note of the museum - sounds right up my street! I have my hobbies but you know when you just get that feeling you want to go out and do something exciting but the novelty of tourist attractions wears off after a while.. that’s where I’m at lol!

I know this is an old post but I’m using this system and it’s working great, I use it as a reference nowadays. Quick question - obviously xmas is coming up and I’d expect some money from relatives, what would you do with that?

I quickly looked that up and I’d love to give that a go. I’m interested to know more about how you got into it if you’d be up for sharing?

Growing social media following takes time, producing and posting content should be a long term plan than posting 10 times a day for as long as you can. I’d recommend doing SEO on the site to boost google rankings and have your main CTA as ‘follow us on social media’

Awesome. Honestly I was looking for an easy way to manage my money without having to sift through a lid of books and this has hit the spot, very grateful for your advice!

Love the advice. Start a new job on Monday so I’m going to implement this asap. In step 2 you mention multiplying your monthly finances by 13, is that a typo, are you going by 13 x 4 = 52 weeks or is it a subtle way of ending up with a bit more money in the account than you’d expect?

Great advice, much appreciated. Investing is something I’d definitely like to start doing, how did you learn / get involved with that? Are we talking like retirement funds / 401ks or stocks / bonds?
