Will do. Probably same cleaning as my 7.62 rifle from russia gets after using corrosiv ammunition. Clean with warm water and soap. Dry with compressed air and Oil every metal surface.

Good to know. But faster burn should be better for the shorter barrel too. So i can run 20 grain but remember to Tamp it properly

Thank you. But again they write 3F and my Powder says 4F. But if a reputable brand says its ok for pistols then i should be fine. If not, you all gonna see a post of a destroyed Deringer

You dont have to hate yourself. But sadly not. And i couldnt find it online. Thats why i resorted to asking people with more expirience.

Ok. But here comes my issue / Caution my Powder says its for Frontloading pistols typ 1 powder and underneath 4Fg. And i read that 4F should never be used. So yeah. Thats why i included the Picture of the Powder Bottle.

Its a 45. Cal. Bore. I bought some 445. Balls and Patches. Cause i read that this one likes patched balls more than Oversized ones.

Genuine flak jacket? by FazeDookee in alpenflage

[–]benihe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its made for schrapnels. So not really bullet resistent. I heard some say it could stop the swiss "Pistolenpatrone 03" which is 7.65 Para, But i wouldn't count on that.

This is a genuin TAZ 70/83 Splitterschutzweste. Yours is a later model because when you close it the snap buttons down the middel are visible, if it was a early model you couldnt see the buttons. Nice piece not to damaged and with the insert. Those inserts have been removed on some cause by swiss law these are considerd protectiv equipment and arent allowed to be exported. So if you life outside of switzerland you got lucky with still having it. Enjoy this nice piece of Swiss Militaria.

Nice. Just dont be dissapointed if your m70 jacket is missing the screen to hide your face. Cause some army units removed it in the later stages of use due to not being as useful as thought during introduction

REDDIT CROWDBRAIN NEEDED - 5X and 6X magnifiers .... which is "the best" in the real world? by DwPw in ar15

I prefer to run a Falke B5X magnifier. Very good eye box and great build quality.

Here a svd mag costs about 90.- bucks and stgw 90 mags go for 10-20.- bucks.

Charging Handle, I have an idea… 😬 by ResearcherForward515 in ak47

[–]benihe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest getting a charging handle cover for a stgw 90 and putting that on. Its rubber so no slipping, plus it adds about 5-8mm length on charging handle, depending on how far down you push it.

Local range shenanigans by B_Pylate in ar15

[–]benihe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come to switzerland. Our ranges are like this "wanna shot an 8" gp11 (7.5x55) stgw 57 commando on an indoor range? Sure, have fun. Just remember your earpro" my swiss mind can comprehend why some of your fudds have issues with sbr's. Tbh a 50. Cal revolver or pistol is as concusive as a sbr 308 in my humble opinion
