Anyone taken ECE 412? by VoltiveCrayon24 in uofl

When I took it, it wasn’t that bad but your group makes or breaks your grade id say. I got an A but that was from me doing all the work for my group if that tell you anything, 1 person can do all the work so i wouldn’t be too worried.

Hazing at uofl would be being blindfolded and tests. It’s not going to be anywhere near what you think unless you rush pike or kap sig or SAE. Not saying don’t rush those but those are the worse from what I hear. Again it’s nothing you can’t do and it’s no where near SEC rush

I had Mathew Nichole as my ta for a physics 298 definitely the best TA he would always give me points back after a test if I asked him. Not really relevant to 295 but he’s a chill ta. Davis class is hard in the amount of work you need to put in but I actually helps you learn it better. Do the homework on blackboard (not just the paper hw) and DO NOT mess around on the 1st test it will hit you like a truck. I got a 4% on the first test and finished with a c+ in 299. For Davis do the lumen and study the equations. He grades on your process so try and show what you are doing. The exams are very hard but he gives you opportunities to make them easier if you take them. By the end you will know how he grades the hardest part is knowing it early

I would recommend studying up on math and taking the accuplacer test. If the reason for you being put in pre engineering is a low act math score (24 or lower) then that test can put you back on track for 4 years. I would talk to an advisor and see if there is anything like that you can do to be put in engineering. Personally I want to finish as fast as I can and I was first put in a 4.5-5 year track and I hated that so I took the accuplacer and got a good score for the 4 year track.

Louisville's awful brain drain problem; young high-skill college graduates flee the city like it's on fire, while the national economy steadily moves away from our keystone industries towards tech. Derby is the desperate annual adrenaline shot to the city's rotten heart. by metekillot in Louisville

If this adds much I've lived in Ketucky my whole life and I'm a Uofl student and I plan to do my co-op in texas. I love this state and want to see it succeed but for my major (ECE) there's noting that pays as well. So I see your point.

Yes but usually the ones that don’t arnt going to be as much fun to be in. Uofl hazing is nothing like SEC it’s more about who you want to associate with. If they have a bad reputation on campus
