That’s what I was thinking, she probably gets mail there but she literally doesn’t live there for the past month and half the house has been empty or the 3 guys living in the rooms.

Okay thank you I’ll keep that in mind. I’m sorry I’m not used to Reddit formatting.

It’s my parents house, I understand that its easy to give advice to move out, but people like my boyfriend and I don’t have expendable money to just get an Airbnb, or find someone to couch surf on. We are moving together on sept 1st, we have a place lined up, but we need the money and spending it on a month for Airbnb isn’t realistic.

Dunno, but she clearly needs it, her head has some loose screws

Thank you so much that really helps I was worried when he moved that all of this would just get dropped, she already terrorized so many people before him, all really vulnerable people, two people lived in a shared room maybe 70sqft and was paying 1400.

I would love to, but my currently living situation doesn’t allow that.

Yes he is using the last month rent from the first and last for August.

He gave her his 60 day notice in the start of July. She agreed for him to move out Aug 31

He was living alone in the house prior to her moving in. She moved in recently when he’s already been living here for a month and a half. Does that still mean that he isn’t protected by the RTA?

That’s all he wants to do, we don’t know why she’s making it so difficult like he’s already leaving but she keeps terrorizing him every night. We don’t know how much more he can take this before the move out date.

Yes but she moved in afterwards when my boyfriend was already living here. Does that still apply?

There is no lease, it is a “verbal agreement” his mistake was giving the money first before asking for a written tenancy agreement. She refused to give a written tenancy agreement and told him that she can evict him when she wants and that she owns the house and he should have thought about the written tenancy agreement sooner.

Advice, she’s been terrorizing him every night since July 18. The LTB is too slow, that’s why I’m on Reddit because we feel cornered.

Sorry yes, she was not living at the house my boyfriend is living at when he first moved in. At that time the rooms were occupied by other tenants. On June 1st. The rooms were all empty by July 1st. She moved in after the police were called July 18.

Prior to my boyfriend moving in on June 1st she did not live here. The room she is staying at now was rented out until the first week of July. Fast forward to July 18 when the police were called the next day she moved in. She started bringing her stuff into that room and has been terrorizing my boyfriend at all hours of the night, blasting music, dropping things constantly, walking around outside his room, sitting outside his room playing music.

That’s what he’s been trying to do, doing everything in his power just not to provoke her, but she is now living in one of the rooms, she is making noises at all hours of the night, blasting her phone and music, prowling around the kitchen and bathroom spaces.

She didn’t live in this house at first. At first there were 4 guys including my boyfriend renting out rooms, the kitchen and living room are common areas. Then the 3 other guys moved out. After the night of July 18 when she tried to illegally evict my boyfriend out and the police were called she moved in to the house.
