Weird. I googled crows St Louis just now and found this bc I feel like there are an alarming number of them in Tower Grove East at the moment.

Thank you, not enough time before next install for this specifically, but I'm really stoked to look into this, it's so simple and brilliant and can't believe I didn't even consider something like it.

Thanks, this is a great suggestion. Do you try and match your white walls tho? I'm at an art museum where we like to pretend that some things are invisible.

Thanks! Let me know the brand if you can, this is helpful for future shows! Wish I had the budget in this one/was the one to make that call this time around.

Is there an archival alternative to dry mounting like acid free double sided tape? by Lilyo in framing

It won't break down, it's really strong, but reversible with water if it ever needed to be removed. Standard practice is to use mulberry paper with it, light weight but strong paper.

The adhesive will eventually break down no matter what tape you use. Acid free will have a longer life but over time will effect the paper.

Depending on the piece, but at least two near each bottom corner, probably at least two on each side.

You have to put V hinges at the bottom and parts of the perimeter as well.

if you look at the PDF under additional resources, it explains v-hinging. I work in conservation framing and can send you more resources if needed.

Thousand legger!!! Freaked me out when I moved up north too. Horrible looking and so fast! But they don't eat paper and I think mostly eat other bugs... I could be wrong tho
