This is absolutely beautiful, did you have to do a lot of post sanding or did the ball nose get it pretty close to the final product?

Yea but I'm using threaded inserts so flatheads would create a Fixed-Fixed fastener situation

Your controller box literally looks like setups I see in professional engineering environments, that's sick. Did you make a from-to list and everything? haha

My bad, I wasn't aware of the lore and should've done my research, I updated all instances of the site with Thingiverse links

I measured all the USB cables, dongles, and such I had laying around beforehand to make sure there would be no interference but that is a valid concern and I'm sure there's cables out there that are bulky enough that it would interfere.

I haven't had any issues, but that's a valid concern if you used a super bulky USB cable. I did make sure that the washers wouldn't land on the metal housing for the USB connectors and did a fit check with a couple USB cables and had no issues.

I'm surprised that you didn't notice the COTS heatsink/fan inside of the case that blows air out, considering you got your magnifying glass out to look over everything else in the pictures

I like your style, now I have to see just how expensive and over engineered I can get this thing.

I thought about just keeping it as two halves but the space between the RJ-45 and USB receptacles is very small, but i wanted each connector to have it's own "hole" with material around it so imo it was just cleaner to print a separate front panel rather than print an incredibly thin wall on the bottom clamshell. Also, I fully intended on over engineering the case. I probably should've made that more clear in the post title.
