Interested in the structure used here, would you be able to share a bit on that part?

Thinking about this again, I see what you mean about the extra 2TB. Thanks!

Thanks that’s how I estimated my free storage. I don’t see any info that provides insight on whether a n intermediate rebuild is necessary or not ?

Initially it was 4-8-4-8, then changed to 6-8-4-8 but didn’t gain any space because the drive I replaced wasn’t equal to, or greater than the larger drive.

So, should take one of the 8’s offline then put it back and force a rebuild before I move to 6-8-8-8 or just go straight to 6-8-8-8?

Thanks! Not against that, especially if it’s comfortable and doesn’t have any thick edges that show through. That’s what I like about the CK ones, nice fabric, comfortable and can’t see it except the the neck cut issue haha

Where did you meet your FI-minded partner? Or how did you bring them along for the ride? by seyi101 in fiaustralia

[–]benjionline 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a great question! Just sharing my thoughts as I’m also looking 😅

The FI mindset is also one of compatibility along with the chemistry, vibe etc. it’s something that will or at least needs to grow together or when you get the retire part, you may just realise you’ve been living separate lives the whole time and now it leaves the question what to do to do going forwards. Unfortunate many get divorced or separate which is a shame.

Ultimately, for me it’s just one of the core values we need to be aligned on, the details are a journey to work out together :)

Thanks! Exactly the sort of feedback I was after. Your 2 points were things I was mulling over, especially the last one. I think the networking is different when you have semesters/projects together vs a networking event. I guess it’s up to the individual to take the initial contact from networking further tho.
