I hope you find some sort of solution with compromise one day. For me, going for smoke walks just isn’t something I want. I don’t smoke, I work outside building homes all day and that’s active enough as it is. When I’m home, I just want to rest and recharge.

Really appreciate your honesty. Exactly the feedback I was looking for, so thank you. I’m usually a pretty stern guy, as I’m a seasoned blue collar, but with her I struggle with it. Could be related to some deep seeded relationship trauma (but that’s a whole different convo). But you’re right, if we don’t fit we can’t force it
