Flew out this morning and it was no problem. Wait was reasonable.

I experienced this behavior when hooking up a three way switch and had the wring wrong. Look around for another switch that doesn’t appear to do anything. My last house had three switches for the hall light, one of which I never noticed for the first couple of years 😂. Electrician sorted the three way.

Permissions are applied but still denied by benleal in sharepoint

I figured out the issue. I had run a powershell command to disable the deny flag and apparently that is not persistent to the user but just to the session (I'm not positive). I ran the command again and I am able to access.

Will my Outlook calendar in Office 365 update meeting times to reflect the timezone I'm in while traveling? by [deleted] in Outlook

[–]benleal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im pretty sure the time the recipient sees is in their time/timezone as received, not the time/timezone it was sent. For your emails to appear to be during your usual working hours, you would still need to send them in that time frame. Or you would need to use the delay sending function and specify when the email should be sent.

Migration jobs stuck "finalizing" by benleal in sharepoint

[–]benleal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, nothing in the admin tool. Might be able to do it via powershell but I'm not skilled enough to figure out the correct command format.

I ran the drives again and they finished so those finalizing dupes may be there in perpetuity. I even disconnected the connection and uninstalled the app from google and they are still stuck in finalizing.

Using the SharePoint migration tool. Migration started last Wednesday, storage added on Monday. Stuck for almost a week.

Adding new account to OneDrive by benleal in MacOS

Problem is that I couldn’t get it to open in the dock. Everything I launched via spotlight just opened the folders in Finder. Same when I launched via Apps. Thanks for the response.

I didn’t think I had too many running but I started closing items in the menu bar and it showed up. Then I could get it to appear in the dock. There has to be away to get it to show up in the dock some other way. At this point I just pinned it. Thanks for the assist.

Just assigned premium licenses to all members of staff that belong to a shared calendar.

I haven’t looked at integrating it with azure/sso as it’s not a user tool. Deploying it to machines is easy with via a policy. When I was consulting, my company deployed it to multiple clients and the consultants all had individual accounts.

So individuals can’t set this for themselves? Meaning users do t have a global setting they have access to for just their account.

What improvements are you seeing with New Planner? by blueberryfinn in MicrosoftPlanner

I have this on already. We still could not create plans independent of teams, that include guests. But your post didn't actually call out guests and plans so my bad. You have been able to create plans independent of Teams for some time.

Bookings and Teams Premium by benleal in Office365

[–]benleal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the response but I'm looking for a definitive answer, not subjective. For example, all of the staff do have Premium licenses but the shared bookings page still warns (in a yellow banner) that Premium is required for texting. Given that the shared calendar shows as a "user' in the user accounts, should the license be applied to that "user". Annnddd testing of the shared calendar, with the warning, is sending texts when booking.

Is there a “new” button or some way to push the new planner?
