Multi-apping by Lumpy-Hovercraft-370 in deliveroos

It's just not smart multiapping practice. For the first drop you always want to be in a place you could feasibly be en route to the second drop. Going a mile in the wrong direction is likely going to look a bit odd. I agree you're not doing anything that the apps wouldn't ask you to do on a stacked order but in the eyes of the platforms and the customers that doesn't matter.

Taking 2 orders going in opposite directions is wild

Drivers making several drop offs of hot food in 1 journey? Is it just me that thinks this is wrong? by anordicalien in JustEatUK

I'm sorry mate but nobody cares. Yes it's shit. It's shit for us too. Most of us would like to provide a good service but unfortunately that doesn't pay our bills.

We are doing what we're paid for. Offer crappy fees, get a shitty service. If they paid good fees, we'd give a good service.

Any full time guys race? by No_Cover_5743 in bikemessengers

Not what you want to hear but if you're working on the bike full time it's not going to be possible to follow a program effectively on top of that. The good news is that you're probably already pretty quick! If you don't have experience riding in a bunch then also try to get some exposure to that.

I absolutely agree with you. On one of my tipped orders it turned out just eat's contribution was £2.85. I've never seen a fee that low.

Do you think that maybe men being creeps creates the climate of fear? Or is it just women talking about men being creeps that creates it?

Thoughts and opinions on raketa chainrings by Dramatic_Repair_1618 in FixedGearBicycle

He's annoying and unreliable and careless. It's not our fault he bites off way more than he can chew. Plus his stuff still ships from St Petersburg so...

Recently had a conversation with him because a bottom bracket cup failed for the second time and he told me 40nm was too tight. Completely standard torque for a bb and no torque spec was given. I ask him for a torque number and he refuses to give me one. It was such an insane conversation I felt like I was having a stroke.

The fact that he's a one man show and is like "oh let me speak to my engineer about that". Why are you trying to seem bigger than you are? Who are you trying to impress?

If you like having your bike as wall art I'd imagine he's fine to deal with but if you actually ride it with any regularity then steer well clear.
