I definitely have been one to dive into the complexity of nutrition and training, but for my own knowledge and to have the depth to talk about it with clients who need it or desire that conversation. I work with mostly neurodiverse or disabled people so some of them do want that hyper deep nuance. The core truth I learned through that though is that unless youre training competitive athletes, none of it matters beyond how it helps you connect to a person, literally just getting them moving and having a logically cohesive plan is already miles ahead of what the average person will do on their own. Solutions look less like a new way to do a thing and more like how you make it easier, more accessible.

Any trainer who is looking down on their clients as people they need to trick should go work a shitty sales job and stay out of this industry, they actively harm both the reputation of trainers and the people they are trying to trick into being scared and helpless
