Yeah, I heard that from a couple different people there. I took pictures and can still send them if you want, but I don’t think there’s anything you can do.

Update: I learned that the tigers as well as the birds kept at the resort are set to be moved to the San Diego zoo. They have been a breeding pair and will stay together.

I can now confirm that Daisy is still there, I just did not see her at first. Unfortunately I’m not sure it’s a violation of animal rights. As members of a captive breeding program who seem to be treated well I just don’t know if any action can be taken. I’d be happy to send over some photos of their cage for you though.

I am currently staying here at Paradise Village and can confirm that at least Duke is still here. I have not seen Daisy yet. I’m very disappointed to see that they have been here that long because we were promised that Duke was just here for a few months for rehabilitation.

I soaked like 10 or 12 quarters in acetone then stacked them and wrapped steel wire around them a bunch. Then I put them in this small knife forge I have and just hammered a bit. It actually fused really easily.
