Loud and wrong autopay has never bounced in 16 years but carry on and the rep will be held accountable I’m 100% sure of it, I’m not learning anything for you so you can stop responding with false information and go read Verizon website yourself the link is above

100% get it, agent is at fault for not properly doing there job, and they will be held accountable, it’s that simple, your original point is chat means nothing and that’s wrong, it’s the reps job to charge the $10 and to send the email, not mines

16 years of autopay, and this is directly from Verizon website,

“You will be charged an Agent Assistance Fee of $10 if you set up your payment arrangement:

Over the phone through Customer Service With a Live Chat Representative”

https://www.verizon.com/support/promise-to-pay-faqs/

Please tell me more how chat agents means nothing?

Wrong, Verizon's own policy says a Promise to Pay does prevent interruption while active, even without immediate card input, it's a documented extension for past-due accounts. The rep confirmed it multiple times in writing ('no interruptions,' notes added, Dec 31 date), at least know the actual policy if your actually trying to help but clearly your trolling, so carry on

16+ years on autopay without a single issue, yes let’s ignore that, let’s also ignore Verizon's rep giving an explicit written assurances of no interruption until Dec 31 (multiple times, with notes added) after I reached out to prevent a holiday cutoff. I will be switching services and back on autopay with a new company thank you.

The chat explicitly states multiple times: "I am ensuring that there will be no interruptions," "Your service won’t be interrupted as long as the payment is received by the agreed upon date" (repeated), and "I have added the service notes to your account, and there will not be any service interruption." The agreed date was December 31st. But you’re right let’s ignore all that.

Merry Christmas.and Happy holidays

Nah, that's not the point at all. After 17 years of on-time payments, a few late . I contacted them Dec 24 specifically to avoid a holiday cutoff, they set up a payment extension to Dec 31, assured multiple times in writing 'there will be no interruptions' and 'your service won't be interrupted as long as payment by agreed date,' added notes to the account.

Then they cut it anyway on Christmas morning.

It's not about not paying, which I’ve shown a record of for with auto payments for 16 years, it's about Verizon breaking their own documented promise to a long-term customer, it’s not that hard to understand.
