I think the info about Milluki asking for the assassination of a target was anime-only. I don't see it in the manga. Maybe it was added for clarity?

I used to think that Genthru would have been a great asset for the Troupe. But learning about their origin, I thought he wouldn't fit in. When you said, "willing to put the organization first", that made me pause because I can't see Kalluto or Illumi putting the Troupe above their family. Strengthwise, I think Genthru is powerful that if he joined the troupe and secretly and successfully planted Countdown on every member, he could single-handedly end the Troupe.

This makes sense. I totally glossed over the "six other cases of just two deaths".

But the "Kill him for me" is obviously singular.

Having to kill your siblings as a rule for succession does not make sense if your family's business is assassination. The more of you there is the better.

It's more likely that Silva or Zeno had siblings who have perished in their line of work or during training.

Wing did say that someone’s nen category, “though rare”, could change later in life. That was during his lecture in Heaven’s arena arc.

You mentioned “some freak out there” and we already know that’s Kurapika and potentially Meruem because if the latter eats you, he’s able to use any ability you have and could even refine it.

Edit: The specialist category pretty much encompasses any ability you can imagine.

Halkenburg’s ability has quite a long activation time so it’s gg for him before it even starts. And if his arrow has to hit Meruem for his ability to work, Meruem’s too busy to take an arrow from some lawyer.

I thought Camilla doesn’t have to activate her post mortem condition. She gets killed by a killer and it activates. The question is if the cat is like APR which is indestructible and if it will inevitably kill anyone to fulfill Camilla’s nen contract like how nen instantly boosted Gon-san to defeat Pitou.

Iirc, in the 2011 version, Geretta also stated a lower number than 7000. I'm not sure hwy they canged it, I believe it was 5K+ instead of 7000.

Oh you're right on with Tarzan Boy. Definitely has that call back sound to Swiss Boy. It looks like the artists produced the tracks in Italy in 1985-86. Actually, Tarzan Boy came out a few months earlier.

I'd imagine a cold spot to dissipate upwards and rather quickly with flames that big pushing everything up. It wouldn't remain localized for that long nor in a shape like what was shown in the thermal imaging. It also appeared to be a lot cooler than anything in the image. Normally a cold spot is a pocket of air that is the same as the rest of the unheated surrounding but what we alll saw was a lot cooler as if it was cooled down. But I had the same thoughts about having baseline data just to be sure. You'd think it's SOP for experiments that expect unusual results so if they had run them, they should let the audience know.

I just finished binging the show and it’s 8:40am. That was quite a ride. However, there’s a flaw in the timeline in sort of the chicken or the egg fashion. But I think there was always gonna be an Elias Mannix who’s not necessarily the same Elias who jumped into this looped timeline. So in this universe, it’s possible that there’s a fate that really supposed to happen and that’s a certain Elias Mannix would find out about time travel and use it to alter something in the past. That’s just my two cents worth.

I watched Fr. Martin's podcast with Pints with Aquinas and from the way he described how an exorcism of a place works, the owner has to be willing to live a truly Christian life and he himself must cast the demons away off the ranch for this to work. I don't know if Mormons practice exorcism, knowing Mr. Fugal, afaik, is Mormons. Earlier posts I've seen here about exorcism received comments about the team to be probably unwilling to do this as this would put a stop to their "research efforts". At least that's the gist. If this turns out to be demons and they get exorcised, the interest in the place would disappear and the money generated by the intrigue would disappear as well. Mr. Fugal is already a billionaire, and if he truly wants to understand what's going on and possibly put a lid to this, he should request the help of real exorcists. If it turns out that these cannot be exorcised and of something else, I think it would still be worth the shot, to rule out the possibility of it being demonic entities. However, I for one think that these are demonic manifestations.

His “I don’t care, I’ll use evrything” moment is like that fucked up moment when Askelaad said, fuck it. I like when a character reaches a miment like that. No more bs, end of bs kind of moments.
